FIFA 15: Ignite Engine For PC

Instead of incrementing the graphics engine I hope for a solid gameplay engine.
For my point of view:
Only a little gfx improvement and a good hd pitch visible during the gameplay It would be enough.

I see on internet a lot of comment like: ohhh ohhh awesome faces, awesome gfx....and like this.....
But after downloading the demo I think a lot of users are not able to start the game or play the game at 2 fps in the gameplay and 1 fps during the NIS intro.
I can already imagine: please fidel release the optimizer my game is very slow, and please fidel I'm not able to play a better match (This is for anyone who are lucky, because in many of the pc the game will not start, exe and fifaconfig read the requirements, if you do not have the minimum required, it don't start), surely many of these PCs are capable of supporting other awesome games at 60 fps without lags but not fifa15 (like good gfx engine from other game developers).

I will not have problems to play fifa15 at max details into my monster pc, but I think of all the others who have a PC with a medium hardware system will not play the game surely.

We will probably have a data3.big than 12Gb (data3 name container file if the structure will be the same) .. 12 Gb is an example, to exaggerate, but not much, textures will be in very large/big data files. A lot of problem for the modders, for example to update all game kits (future update mods...etc, you must upload (and final user download) 3Gb of data. EDIT 1: sorry checking now, in my fifa14 I've 3 Gb of data kits, I imagine fifa15 will be minimum the double, minimum 6 Gb).

Perhaps the real challenge this year will be optimize the gfx engine, reduce data in the ram by decrease textures data for almost all pc.
EDIT 2: But remember that without a good hardware system, you can not perform miracles with optimizer mods.

Again, I hope for a solid gameplay engine, because every year I'm not able to finish one year career for fix all gameplay issue/glogal issue present in the game. I'm speaking at name of all fifa modders here.
Every year I abandon also online matches (default 14 gameplay engine), only ping pong soccer matches at supersonic speed, I prefer to play with a modded gameplay offline versus modded cpuai or versus an human in offline career.

Again, I hope for a solid gameplay engine.

Evolution needs power. No evolution if you stay at requirements from a time where player had 24 pixels. I'm really, really glad that EA doesn't stick to PCs from the sixties for another 8 years.

And no, really gameplay isn't against the CPU.

Today we all entered into a parallel dimension where EA cared about PC and gave next gen and KONAMI did the opposite. Looks like this time I'll do the opposite to my last year's activity, PES is toast for now.

I agreed, we can't just stick with low spec PCs, its time to change to high spec PCs for all of us. Or else, we will still get CG games for many more years. But its true that EA didn't optimize the gfx well. Graphics isn't that well, but it runs poor than many good gfx games.

Does the fact that my laptop runs FIFA14 at max settings with smooth fps mean that it will be able to at least run FIFA15 on medium?
Intel core I5-460M, 4gb ram, ATI mobility radeon hd 5650 (it even says up to 3674 mb hypermemory lol)

About new ignite:
I hope that EA Finally add into the engine all body human joints (joint: a structure in the human body at which two parts of the skeleton are fitted together), on the real human the number of joints are 360 (for almost all human people).
Technically in fifa14 the num total joints are 14 (original gameplay, a coincidence with fifa version).
Technically EA call it into actual game engine (14):
I still remember that real human joints are 360
here the EA actual values (ori game):
MappedJoints=13
NumTotalJoints=14
checking for strings ram values, the exe (into a debugger) are able to read values with max 360 number.

In the fact I've introduced this tweak in GP EVO AI 4 Series I've tweaked values to 360 (of course unfortunatly are working only the mapped joints), but after the tweak now you can see 2 or 3 new joints enabled (disabled on default engine, mapped but disabled, a new one on the neck and two in the legs), to see that we need a very careful eye!
GP EVO AI 4.6 Values:
MappedJoints=360
NumTotalJoints=360
in this way, with new values work surely all mapped joints present in the gp engine (this setup overwrite 3 or 4 joints disabled by EA).
For those who want to try these strings, are not working alone, you must use all gp evo sections and settings just below in the ini.
It is not always easy to explain everything that I study in the gameplay engine.

In FIFA15 I hope for at least new 50 human body mapped joints to really see the difference in the gameplay engine.

i hope they fix that shit about sliding and fouls,when i slide/tackle an opponent they just keep running,i mean c'mon! neymar gets lightly tackled and he's already on the ground! hasnt EA been watching that? xD it would make it look a bit more realistic,and dont forget about them spray cans! (H)

fidel I think you're just overhyping the hardware requirements a bit.
I don't come around here quite often, but you're describing it as 90% of the people here have PCs from 1995.

plus, you're even saying that the game won't be properly optimized and that even good PCs won't run the game smoothly :facepalm: how in gods name do you know that? the demo hasn't even come out yet for gods sake.


ontopic: After watching a lot of these gameplay videos, I'm feeling that the game is really, really fast. Like PES 2010 fast. If that's the normal game speed then I'm getting a bit worried. Also they seemed to have fucked up the goalkeepers with these new animations and systems.. their reactions are awful.

Don't worry about the goalkeepers, the problem just seems to exist in the Demo on Gamescom. There are a few people who had the chance to play a newer built in Community lounge and keeper were fine there.

Good for me if the gameplay is fast. I like fast gameplay. But its obvious that if normal game is fast then turning game speed to slow will make it normal [Only if they give options for changing game speed]
