Its probably the same error with the textures as well. You got some relative paths on the textures.

I have to learn to read the readme files....


--How To--:
1) Open the .blend file with Blender (preferably version 2.71).
2) Goto File->External Data and untick the Automatically Pack into .blend option.
3) Goto File->External Data->Unpack All into Files and select Write Files to Current Directory.
4) Goto File->External Data->Make All Files absolute.
5) Using the Export functions of the script, you should be able to get the proper rx3 files of the template.

Hey Arianos, did you have any luck with the bones on models, managers etc?

Also, I tried adding some props to a stadium and also your beginners stadium, i can export all etc with no probs but the new extra porps, generic, assist manager dont show in new stad in game. Is there a set amount of props you can only have per stadium?

Nope, no news about the bones :(

There is no limit on the number of props you can add, its just manager positions and bench player positions, seem to be controlled from somewhere else and not from the model file.

Yeah I thought that and thought you would say that as even when i put no managers they still show up, mangers controlled elsewhere, however when I add a generic model near the manager box he doesnt show and they should?? does it have to be away from the manager or something??, what I am trying to do is that if we cant use the assistant mangers that fifa forgot, i wanna try use a generic prop to put near the manager box and remodel as an assistant manger. That way we have both :) simples :)

Unless that part changed from the previous version I'd say the Trophy export works the same way as Fifa 14 (it's the same as balls and logos)

Hmmmm it seems that everything is a bit weird concerning the textures. I'd suggest to cleanup your fifa_tools and try exporting again. If there was noone that had succeeded on this i'd say that its possible for a script error, but quite a few have made the night version to work, so its not a script error.

Try exporting fewer objects, check that everything is good, and then keep adding more and more objects until your final stadium :)

I've been the same error since I tried for the first time. The problem probably is in the script because I tried everything. Always the same error. Diffuse textures take place on the ambient texture. If you change it inside Blender at exportation they exchange again. I try keep out goal posts from WC stadiums. Only this! When you export textures get mixed.

Shawminator had reported some time ago that stadium textures should not exceed size of 1024x1024. That was some time ago, and i thought i had fixed this, but it seems that its still an issue. Besides that i believe that it has nothing to do with the script, its just the maximum size that the game expects for stadiums. That really sucks, but if the issues are solved, thats a relief.

So if you are using any bigger textures, please make them smaller.

@BFL no mate. If you have found what files control the coreo's let me know. I have not found any useful information myself.

Unhappily there isn't any image bigger than 1024x1024. So I believe the problem is in another thing.

Hi. Arianos. first of all. Thanks for your amazing work. I have no errors on the script on stadiums at least.:wootman: Everything with the model exportation works fine. No errors on the interface. I even can copy and paste parts of my old blender stadium files. :D Then about the textures, the exporting works aparently fine, but in game i got the annoying checkered texture on every part imported.:f***:
I think i've done fine the most of texture matters, but i can't find the origin of this issue. I'm not sure if this has been solved on this forum. I searched but couldn't find nothing. Please help me on this. This is what i have. I used the template and just puted a single part to test my files. The checkered part and texture is the track around the stadium. I must add that have tried changing the order of the ambient and diffuse texture on the texture section and nothing changed.

Ive done some tests with the latest release and i can say 100% that i dont find any errors if i follow a few simply rules:-
1. as arianos has said keep all textures to a maximum of 1024x1024, textures above it may work and may not, pretty much a gamble so best to stay safe

2. i enable alpha on all textures, this creates all dxt5 textures so the texture file size is bigger but it seems to do the trick, this is done by ticking the use alpha tickbox under the textures tab in blender

3. Sometimes in blender when u bake the ambient map the backgroun of the texture is fully alpha, before export i go through my textures folder and make sure that all ambient textures(ie lightmaps) are fully opaque for the full texture. i also do this for base textures which dont require any alpha in them, for example my cement texture, running track texture etc..... the simpliest way i found to do this was to open the texture in blender, create a new layer and paint bucket it black, then drag the layer below the existing layer and then merge down. hope that makes sense


when i follow these rules i get a export with no issues and textures work like a charm.
i hope this will help some people manage to export there stadiums as we can never have enough stadiums

the following i have found are pretty much useless as they seem to be controlled by else where.

I've found a bug.
When I'm editing a face and I update the texture file, the exported rx3 file doesn't get updated with the new texture.
It was working fine in the previous versions.

Hello Arianos10 , problems with night textures were resolved , I converted all the textures again using photoshop, with dtx5 configuration, generate 3mipmaps .
But I still have two problems , how should I name the vertex groups of the crowds ? for home and away ? how to operate the fancards ?
Another problem I can not create the lights tried using the FIFA 14 do not work , I tried to import the lights a unique stage of FIFA 15 , move them and eportar do not work in the game.

Good man Shawminator (thought I was going crazy) had the same results.

Do you Know if it is possible to import the stock stadium change or move props around then overwrite?
