just to let yuou guys know im gonna upload a new version of the tool later on tonight,
ive added in a few checks so that it will catch certain error described in the posts above.
i think the somehow the tool wasnt empting the working_dir folder so it was having issues at that point, but ive added in a check so that doesnt happen.

ive also added in a refresh stadium list that will update the list of stadiums which is handy if you wish to add a new stadium to your folder, so u dont need to restart the tool.

ive made another wee update which i will release shortly,
this one include an update stadiumsetup.ini.
this is for dbs that are not standard
all you have to do is to export the teams.txt and the teamstadiumlinks.txt file from t6he db using dbmaster to the fifa stadium swapper.exe directory and it will use that to update thje tool to be the same as your fifa14 game.
saves alot of hassel fiddling about per team,

Hi mate! I was wondering if your tool could work also to change the venue of a final game (i.e. a stadium that has not assigned as a "home stadium" of a team.)
For example: I'm going to play the Scottish Cup Final which is normally set in the Stadion Olympik stadium (id 193) but I'd like to play the game at Hampden Park, which is in the list of the stadiums I've got.
How should I set up your tool in order to get it working for this?

I've seen your tool copies the files of the new stadium inside the sceneassets/stadium-fx-crowdplacement folders correctly. Still, when I play the game, I see the files of the original EA stadium. How can I fix this?

@hibee72,

are you using jenkeys file loader?
to get it to work just now just choose a team that has their home id set to 193,
Atalanta use 193 as their home ground, so before your final choose hampden for atalanta and when you play at 193 it will be hampden park,
but as i said if your not using jenkeys file loader then it may not work,

i think i will look at adding in the final and semi final stadium venues as well.

The "Stadium Swapper" you can extract anywhere you like, "Jenkeys File Loader" goes in "Game" of "FIFA 14" and then you need to select correct folders, try swapping stadium and then removing it, if you get any error then something is not set right!?

i will be releasing version 5 later on this evening.
the update includes a option to select stadiums for cup finals as they use a different stadium from the home team.
it will also include much better updated documentation on how to install and use the tool.
i have made a conscious decision that file loader is a must, there is too much scope for error when not using it.

I followed all of the instructions, and I still don't get any stadiums

Do I have to do the swapping before I open the game, or before a match?

updated the documentation to more friendlier reading
fixed some bugs(fx folder does not exsist) and added some more catches in,

I removed it. Just go to file>exit, i had to code some housekeeping which i couldn't do with the X.
