I created a player in CM and for example, his sprint speed won't improve after it hits 96. While for many other players, it goes up to 98.
Now here is where the weird part kicks in. I've changed his sprint speed stat to 98 via CM and indeed, it is 98 in the game. However, once the player reaches the age defined in PHYS_P2_X, it drops to 96 again. There are no negative growth indicators next to the stat (like -2), it just changes to 96 once he hits that particular age and a new month starts. By the way, the same happens if you give a player a 99 attribute stat. It'll drop to 98.
There is no way to prevent it other than changing the P2_X value to a higher age. And for some reason, if you start a new career, the problem stays. So this particular player will never reach a 98 sprint speed value in any career.

Edit: Taking a closer look at the file, I think it won't help either since the tested player has a potential of 99. So no stat can be better than it should since technically, he should be able to max out all stats eventually.
The problem is that some stats are simply reset to a fixed cap once the player reaches the P2 age for that particular attribute area (physical, mental or skill). It's stupid really, I've noticed that most of his stats seem to be capped at 96 or 97.
For example, he would start out with 96 short passing and after let's say half a season, his short passing would still be 96 but have positive growth indicators next to it (+5 for example although it didn't improve a bit).
I admit that it doesn't really matter if an attribute is at 96 or 98, that's nitpicky. But these are those kinds of bugs that don't have to be in the game.
Well I would like to tweak it so players don't loose so much energy in game, but also I would set they recover a bit slower after the match. So let's say if atm players loose 75 Energy per match, and they recover in days:50,15,12,12,12,12beta990;3643970 said:xtr;3643260 said:Hi again!

The physical attributes didn't reset for some reason when I tried again today, mental and skill did, however. Attributes like short passing still don't improve past 96 no matter what I change in the file.
