Still crashing, "vanilla" version, just your patch!?

I tried with Barca first, it pass'd about two weeks, even after first friendly game and then it CTD, i was selling, buying and scouting, ordinary things.
After that i tried with PSG, i set scout's, made a offer for few players and advanced about 3-4 day's and then it CTD.

So something is still not good, i will try a few more teams tomorow and get back to you!?

Strange, could you please try uninstalling my mod (Programs > Uninstall), clean-up files that are inside the dlc FIFA 14 folder, and try again to install? It sounds like there are some leftovers that doesn't need to be their..

I've uninstalled your mod and then tried if my career still crashes and it didn't, and then i reinstalled the mod and regenerated and it still crashes after 4 days

its a career with milan btw and the only thing i've edited is the fitness from 5.0 to 8.0, don't know if that might help you with the problem.

it worked fine on version 2.0 before, hope you can find a fix cause i really like this mod


Edit: sooo i tried reinstalling both moddingway mod and this mod and now my fifa is broken, looks like a complete fifa 14 reinstallation :/

Installed the most recent update, and I did a sim career with Real Madrid to see the Goalkeepers growth.

I managed to get past the winter transfer window without crashes, which is good.

However, my Goalkeepers (Iker and Diego) had their overall dropped by 2 after playing the first friendly. At the end of the season both of them had their overall reduced by 3, which is obviousely worse then in 2.07 (-1 overall after 1st season, compared to -3).

I searched through the files to see how the goalkeepers grow/degrow, but I didnt find anything. What's the file that modifies GK rating, so too see myself and tweak with it.

Keep up the good work though, your mod is amazing.

EDIT: I´ve also noticed something very strange. Iker Casillas´ price was 0 pounds (vanila is something like 3-4 milions) and Diego Lopez´s price was 700.000 pounds (vanila 3-4 milion as well). These prices are usually given when both goalkeepers are like 36-37 years old. Mabye it has something to do with the degrowth?

Would you guys please try V2.09RC1 (Upload a few moments ago)? If this fixed the crashing problem, this will be the next version. I think a made a typo in playercontract.ini, so revert to the original with a few edits only.

Maybe Im missing something, but is this the same for someone who has expectations to finish mid table or say get promoted? Or maybe a multiplier applied based on board expectations?

Maybe next thing you can work on is increasing youth team would be verry nice if you couldt make that.

Also, I have a question. On all careers, the game seems to "freeze" on 8th of October (every year). After like 2-3 mins the game unfreezes. What is happening on that respective date?

Are you using vanilla DB? Some modded DBs nerf players like moddingway matrix DB.

The poblem is with scouts.
I started carreer With Udinese on 2.09 like 3 hours ago, and everything was ok till the day after a friendly match, and i have this save.

In 2nd i left scouts, so they search for players that i want to - the game crashes day later.

I know, i'm editing too much xD : So, when i uninstalled BCP, and continued career with Udinese, game didn't crashed anymore.
But as you know the game isn't that special anymore without this patch. But i will try again by changing few more things. So i will write more and more

The 'game freeze' is normal, but it seems to be longer when using this tweaks, possible because of the more calculations in the background. You could try ALT+TAB to switch away and back again, a member posted this. Or you could just wait for 2 min.

Will try it and it seems that a (big) bug has landed in the later versions.. I think I edit something wrong or added a wrong value somewhere, checking now.

Hope to release a new version today that solves all the issues.

If you are experiencing crashes, there is a easy way to find out what file is responsible. Just replace one file after an other and try it.
Pls also be sure, not to make any changes by yourself, if you dont can be sure, they occur the crashes.

By the way, im not experiencing any crashes on v2.09 any more.
But as i have a pretty good system, maybe it has something to do with lower systems?!

.) GK´s value too low. (-35/40 instead of -60 would be more realistic)
.) SW/LB/RB/CDM value a little bit too high.
.) Value for players with overall around 80-82 is a little bit too high. Especially if they are getting older. (27-30)
.) The penalty on short contract time is maybe a little bit too weak.

The rest is really fine. Well done mate!

Phenom 2 x4 BE
5gb ram
ATi 5850, so it's even more then mid-range class computer

Is it possible that you make a copy of your BCP, and upload it so we will try it?

yea that would be a good way to figure out what file is causing the crashing, but i'm sure its not caused by lower systems as my system is pretty good and my game crashes on 2.09

Nothing special.

-) Easy job hunt debug
-) Tweaked the playervalues a little bit
-) Tried to decrease negative growth
-) Tried to increase strength of youth players (i´ve overdone this one i think)
-) Im using other fitness settings in cmsettings.ini, because in my db i´ve already lowered the fitness for all players
-) Some other few small changes in transfers, retirement and scouts,....

But as mentioned, it should be just for testing.
