Hi mates! Can somebody tell me what happen if I choose the ORIGINAL /restore fifa 11 to original settings/ button on FIFA 11 GAMEPLAY TOOL ? Will the game be like when I installed first without any patches? And what can I do if I want to put back an older HG version /for example HG 3.0.6/ ?

Supposelly clicking ORIGINAL restore defaults like before installing Hybrid patch. Supposelly executing any .exe Hybrid version overwritte "game\hybrid" (I suppose do not modify game\original and "game\hybrid image cover & link"). I suppose clicking FULL button install automatically what is in "game\hybrid" folder (so you can modify previously "settings.lua" file, so you can install any previous version... I suppose

But only I suppose, no clear information about (or I have not read between so many links and repeated words). I think would be better to have only one HYBRID folder into "fifa11\game\" to have more clear things about what is happening, and delete hybrid shortcut publicity and the image cover & link folder that I suppose is totally unusefull.

Fidel, I have to make one more comment about 4.6 2, which may have already been made by someone else. The cpu is passing almost too perfect. They never miss a pass and it has become almost impossible to take the ball away from them. Maybe loosen a little up here.

Hello Fidel,

Enjoyed the new patch. In some ways it is the best yet and i've had some great moments. What's been most impressive is that scoring goals now requires all different sorts of tactics. I've scored from crosses, open play, rebounds and spectacular long shots.

However it is also one of the must frustrating editions, primarily because it feels like the computer has a few unfair advantages that stack up.

> My main complaint is the computer's speed of thought. It seems that whenever I go to take a pass, take a cross or shoot the computer will somehow get in a touch, interception or block in a way that would be virtually impossible for a human player to replicate. It's immensely frustrating. The AI reaction speed is just that little bit too quick.

> Additionally blocking occurs too often in general, especially by the computer. I remember in 09 I switched down the likelihood of blocking by about 2/3 and the result was a revelation. It's isn't that blocking doesn't happen a fair bit in real life, it's just that it's very hard for the human player to compete with the level of blocking the computer player pulls off.

> Long balls are still far too slow. If you watch them in real life they often zip from end of the pitch to the other, moving pretty fast because often they have to be hit pretty hard to go that far. In this game it takes forever and your players are very vulnerable standing still waiting for the ball to arrive at their chest.

> I personally think the passing speed is too slow. I've had to change my general style to make my passing very short, when it was pretty short to begin with.

Yes you can, in the same way i was playing CRLP (Romanian league). First install the patch you want (World tour or whatever) on 1.01 official fifa 11 patch, then install HG, after this apply HG, regenerate the files with regenerator and you are ready to play. :) Try it and tell me what you have done.

Damn dude, be patient. It's very hard to make a final patch if we don't help him with bugs/errors. That's why he is posting every time a new beta, we should test every time. It's very very hard to make it so, think about he's a guy like us, he got a private life, maybe he got problems to solve like all of us. :) Just thx to him every time when he release a new version.

I agree every word. The CPU's AI already is very very hard. The earliest version I won the 80% of the games, but now I swet like a pig when I play against a 3 stars team, and win only 25% of the games. /legendary level/ It's a bit frustrating me. And the main problem for me: I haven't any time to do anything because the opponent players take the ball away easily. Some users say the legendary level is easier than the other, I don't know couse I play only legendary, but I swear to god it's more more harder then before. The other things are almost perfect, just put back a little bit the CPU's AI and CPU's speed and the game will be exellent. Thanks a lot for all of your patches keep it up dude!

I agree with you, i feel like playing ping-pong with a tennis ball, almost impossible!!
CPU is passing so fast, i can't even switch a player and he is one-on-one with my goalkeeper. This hybrid patch will be just great it just needs a few corrections, CPU ideas are very realistic, and totally like real football, maybe goalkeepers could be better (especially in one-on-one situations, they try to run forward but they stop in the middle of nowhere which makes easy to score).

I agree about the difficult level, of course it may have been the fact that the my laptop can't quite handle FIFA and the animations are really choppy (I asked about it in the technical help section, although no one replied), I got my ass kicked on semi-pro. I might have to uninstall the patch because it's too hard for me, at least until I get a new grahpics card or something like that :-(. For those of you who know a lot about patching/modding, what is the main advantage for the patch? Is it mainly to make the game harder and aimed towards those who are too good for FIFA (find legendary to be too easy or to have too much AI "cheating")? If you're like me and a mediocre FIFA player, is the patch that beneficial? I play FIFA 11 on my friend's PS3 sometimes and really enjoy it, which is why I got it for my PC. I don't know how the normal PC version is since I didn't really play it before I patched it. But if the patch is mainly for people who find FIFA too easy, than maybe I don't need it.

Yup this patch it's for ppl who can easy beat a CPU at Legendary, if you find the spaces back of defenders then you will beat CPU very very easy. I am a guy from those who can win CPU easily. That patch makes the whole CPU to play better, better passes, better shoots, more strong defenders. Now you will score a goal more random, you can shoot from more angles, than standard edition of fifa 11. All the best mate. :) Peace

Same here. I hate it sometimes, but we choose to play it. But i like it how it is :)

So if I'm not good enough to beat the CPU on legendary, should I play the game without the patch?

This is truely pukka. it makes me wanna go buy it for pc to try it out...

but i can't afford it and I don't think my pc would run it properly anyway. Oh well, still got the faithful 360.

- the CPU should hold the ball longer and not pass so fastly
- nearly all attacks by CPU goes over the wings!
- more skill tricks by CPU needed, i played since yesterday and only saw afellay doing a trick which didnt work :P

Amen to that indeed !
Also, in the original gameplay the AI is too accurate on free-kicks, now I think they are less accurate then it should be (I'm talking about the fact they nearly hit the goal when playing Barcelona / MU / Real etc), not to mention they should try more distance shots.
