i've downloaded your gp patch, played it a little, and would like to throw some feedback, if you don't mind.

well, first off, i want to thank you for it, fifa now feels fresh and more realistic and various, but unfortunately not as much as pes does (but it's the game's core problem, i suppose).

so i started with germany against england on legendary, slow, 10 mins, and full assisted passes (i haven't mastered manual yet). the match was intensive, and harder than vanilla's, and i won 2:0 with two headers performed by Klose. it was probably the first time i managed to score a header, let alone two. and it was definitely the first time when i wasn't able to score after through pass game felt hella new as my previous strategy didn't work out at all. and i had more fouls committed than usual (4 against 2). so overall impressions are good, but i still have a few things that get me worried.

as mentioned above, the speed is... well, fast, even on slow, and this is the main problem. i didn't notice any changes from the vanilla game and yes, i zoomed out the second thing is the game felt not as challenging as i'd like it to be. yeah, it was only 2:0 up, but still, england didn't create any opportunity to score. well, i played only one match, and, you know, the real england in the world cup tournament was torn apart as well, so it may not mean anything.

so, the conclusion is.. even with problems (which may be subjective, i admit) the game is awesome, it certainly took a step towards the reality.

i havent clarify something, i didnt touched international tactics and stuff, and every match will be different, full assisted is like playing on easy actualy, try at least lob pass manual and ahot semi.

about speed again i will say some matches will be slow some fast, its logical with 22 top class players a match to be little faster, im guessing you saying about ball speed cause players movement is definetely slower.

they look better in the pitch and the bodyfights are better! just zoom little bit or adjust game resolution.

if you have v1 without other gameplay patch skip the data0's, they are the same as v1.

tell me if you like v2

I would tell you if I like it aswell, but unfortunately when I try to load up FIFA 11 after installing your v2 on a clean 1.01 patched FIFA copy, it crashes instantly when Kaka screen is being loaded. Is somebody with the same problem over here ? I have even reinstalled the game again once more, but the same thing happened !
Hope you know the clue, this version looks so so promising.

ok, I understand! just one question: if I want to put my settings.lua, what I have to do??? It's enough to pu settings.lua in fifa/game folder, or I have to import the file with Filemaster??? sorry for posting here :-s

well, i've played another match, milan vs. juventus. i expected this one to be slower, cause, you know, serie a is known for its tactical slow-paced matches, but the speed somehow remained the same if not increased and i was talking about players' speed as well. they were running like hell, moving their legs so fast that i could barely see them. looks pretty unnatural. maybe, the installation was incorrect, but i have winter transfers updated.

if your game is faster than this in slow settings then you havent install v2 correctly

played several matches, it's really playing great! especially great was the match between real madrid and barca, 5:4, with me leading 4:3 up, then i conceded a very beautiful late equalizer from bojan (like the one that maniche scored against holland, if i'm not mistaken). though, eventually, i achieved a victory in the last seconds of the game, when ronaldo scored a direct freekick from 27 metres. amazing! before i installed your gp database, i usually had scored repetitious goals after repetitious through passes.

hehe im glad mate cause the balanced speed is a core feature of V2! i can promise you that each match you play will be different cause all new things will happen

and of course never again repeated goals or actions!

just follow my instructions exactly, its easy, in the data0's i gave i have extracted db and without them game will see only default db and not V2

I tried it and its so good the AI improved alot, they can now pass in spaces, shoot from distances, looks alot more energitic than the previous boring AI =D.

And btw the shooting improved alot, I got a stunning goal outisde the box by nasri
it hits the upper bar then went into the goal and many more outside the box shots
which go like a rocket to the goal , not like the random poor shots b4.

But the gameplay became a bit slow =(, I was playing on normal btw and find it slow
cant take it and play on slow mode haha =D, and when i turn it into fast it becames a lil bit faster than what i wanted lol, I like the match become exciting and full of chances
and I dont want to spend the whole time at the defence and midfield area building an attack.

Generally AWESOME patch and i respect ur work mate =).

This happen if 2 mods clash or if you miss some file. Best way to solve it :
Take data7.big ; data7.bh ; data0.bh ; data0.big ;all ini files(if you have any) in main game folder ( rna.ini , product.ini, career.ini, etc) plus data folder, and backup and remove from fifa folder (if you have edit any other data file do same for it). Now go to your FIFA 11 CD get in game folder and copy data7.big ; data7.bh ; data0.bh ; data0.big + data folder then apply patch use Regenerator and try to play. The crash you said is posible dua missing files in data i think

thanks mate! well im fun of slow but i believe that we can give the rythm of game we want, i mean if you give fast the ball upfront fast, with one-two passes you will see a little faster game

yeap in v2 you can score with all posible ways

What can I say is that your AI is really well done, I like how it's build-up play, with that king of L1 + X passes, AI guys coming up to your goalie and try to score.
Although, sometimes the AI passing is a bit too slow, in my opinion at Legendary difficulty they should pass the ball faster, like in this video (0:51) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJ1TOSIywN4&feature=related
Apart from that, the AI is nice, they don't make the same impossible pressing like they did before, they are tricky, the game feels more balanced overall, good job !

mate V2 is a db... you cant play V2 if you have another updated db... just do what @Popperce told you and then folow my instructions in 1st post to install ETGD V2
