FIFA 10 - Next-Gen Commentary on PC (Project)

Project closed, due to fact I can't separate the commentary from the crowd, and when a player touches the ball the NG crowd is "entering", and it sounds like crap.
I thought it would be better, but not.
We must have a studio for a good porting, otherwise the commentary will s***.

you'll have to try and separate the commentary from the crowd's noise in those videos. is this workable?

No, it isn't possible, but I already tested some intros and player names WITH the crowd before making this thread and with PC GFX volume on 1/2 bar and commentary on 3/4 it's very hard to say "I heard a crowd sound when Tyler said Rooney".
This thing won't be a big problem.A big problem will be researching on this videos many phrases similar with PC version commentary, then to find the good phrases to overwrite them.
It will be very hard because the PC commentary has a lot of stuff and it's a bit different compared with the consoles (e.g. on consoles Tyler doesn't say "Fabregas is providing a tremendous pass", while he's saying "They scored another goal, here").

Interesting idea man, but as you've said before it's very hard to complete it.If you make it you will remain in fifa games history, so it worth at least a try!

it's a great idea, like i said in my thread in the fifa 10 forum, some parts clive say's is not nescesary. eg you dont see XX dwelling on the ball he is a passer, to me that is not nescesary, so you can import blank recordings to fill such phrases.

Yea but I don't want to make a crappy commentary in which Tyler will say "Hello" , "Drogba", "Goal", "Chelsea won".
Making today the first little part of port .

you would probably have to relink anything you remove & leave blank.

find a next gen 360 editing forum & see if anyone has created tools to open next gen files.

O my goodness ! I said I won't port directly the commentary for NG files, I will port it using Gameplay vids, that's all.

Some notes !
1.The commentary in FIFA NG is recorded a bit lower than the PC one so in FIFA PC the GFX volume must be LOWER with at least 2 bars than the commentary one to hear without problems Tyler's voice.
2.Maybe this sounds will "look" crap for you listening them in Winamp, BUT I assure you In-Game the sounds will be heard really good, because we'll have a modable GFX PC Volume.
3.Sorry for my english problems in naming the audio files, I was very exhausted last day.
4.Now I'm recording new phrases, player names etc, hoping till the end of the week You will download the first Alpha version of my commentary.

You'll get one, don't worry.Today I'm finishing the first intros and player names, tomorrow I would search in original commentary scripts to "Action Phrases" (slide-tackles, interceptions, kicks etc) then I will spend a lot of time on searching Tyler's action phrases, goals celebrations etc.
This project will take probably many months, but it will probably work with FIFA 11 (I don't think it's NG, to be honest) too, and that's a VERY good thing.

I find PES a bit better but FIFA is more fun to play (PES is way boring).
Regarding this sounds, as I said, in winamp you'll hear the background, it's normally, but combined with GFX, In-Game the NG background will be BARELY heard, and I assure you the new voice will be terrific .

0.23 - brillant technic in the tackle
0.41 - could not retreat him much further for making the tackle
0.54 - ah he takes it away there with a very good tackle

Throw in
0.39 - it's gone out for a throw in
1.07 - and the ball just run out of play

Pass
1.05 - no accuracy there with the pass
1.27 - just .... to pick the right pass now because he got so many team mates in support
2.54 - and the cross in now
4.16 - they are keeping possession with their passing here

Goal kick
1.43 - and it's going to be a goal kick

Goal
2.23 - and it is a goal for the home side

Interceptions
3.00 - defender read the ball there and got to it

Offsides
3.17 - ohh its given the offside , the flag went up

Free kick
3.54 - and the referee say thats a free kick
