So far I think Fabregas is the best player in the game. Yes others may have higher ratings, but you could stick Fabregas anywhere except goalkeeper and he'd have huge ratings.

Here's a special one:

Mfaki Omaboe - ST - 62 - 86 - 89 - Cameroon

This guy was found using the "scout" feature in the first season and isn't in the game until somebody finds him. If you've got a big enough club to start with, you may want to scout Africa to see if you can't get your hands on this guy. He'll cost you about 1.5 million pounds, but he looks like he's still growing at a rating of 89 by year 7

Got Fabregas, just signed him (yay), Scouted and found Omaboe but he didn't want to sign with me and now he's gone from the game, damn it.

im gonna sound like a noob

but when u go to player growth on the 360 do you set it to team auto growth on or off to get the most growth out of young players? and when they get exp points do you add them on to players or do they automatically go on? my bad im new at this

best keeper is memo ochoa from america 81 at first but watch as he grows to literally the best keeper in the game
He's on the box in North America so that makes some sense.

Ashman,

When a player refuses to sign for you, he doesn't disappear. You'll find if you keep scouting there he'll show up again (or someone else might wind up with him). There's probably even better guys hidden out there, but he's available in season 1 and the first real good one I found.

You can always shortlist scouted guys and until someone else gets them you're able to sign them the same way any time you want to try. However if you try and fail they leave the shortlist (but not the game).

hey, this may sound like cheating but if the player refuses to sign then i load my career and then again offer him.mostly the player signs,he doesnt refuse everytime.(if you really want the player).

i usually scout players and add them to shortlist and then sign them just before the transfer window opens then immediately sell them.atleast i earn a few million dollars(i always play with top teams with scout level 10).

Yes that is a way of cheating but i don't do it

Hey, that's a great idea about signing, then selling. Thanks for the advice about Omaboe, I'll go looking for him again (btw I found him in my second season) there's another guy from Africa with great potential, I'll post his name when I next play it, I think it's Bridge but I'll confirm this.

What position does he play?

And yeah, the player I found by the name of Kyle Bridge in (Argentina) South America, has the stats :ST, 19 y/old, starts at 67 but goes to 82 in 5th year.

A couple more scouted players:

Angel Javier Arroyo - Spain - LM - Year 1 = 60 to Year 7 = 90
Raul Fernando Martin Pastor - Spain - CAM - Year 1 = 65 to Year 7 = 87
Adam Marriott - Ireland - GK - Year 1 = 67 to Year 7 = 84
Kyle Bridge - Argentina - ST - Year 1 = 67 to Year 7 = 88

And some guys who start the game with teams (if the second rating is earlier than year 7, it means their growth leveled off after the year listed) at positions other than striker and attacking mid:

David - Palmeiras - CB - Year 1 = 67 to Year 4 = 87
Thiago Heleno - Cruzeiro - CB - Year 1 = 69 to Year 6 = 88
Mouhamadou Dabo - St. Etienne - RB - Year 1 = 73 to Year 6 = 87
Gonzalo Castro - Leverkusen - RB - Year 1 = 81 to Year 5 = 91
John Obi Mikel - Chelsea - CM - Year 1 = 82 to Year 4 = 91
