fifa 07 for xbox360 is next-gen

i have made a few videos showing the graphical level of detail for this game. there have been alot of posts that state the game is not next-gen and it does not look any better than current-gen fifa. these should prove them all very wrong. :mrpimp:

level of detail on players' faces

free flowing hair and winkle of clothing

more hair dynamics

clothes wrinkling and models "sink" in grass

some player and ball physics

i hope the final version has corrected the net physics, although this is a good sample in the demo

this next-gen version of fifa07 is very nice, and your videos really show nice details... it still surprises me every time i play, since i don't like to "exploit" the game but play beautiful football.

Excellent vids man, i cant see how anyone can say that next gen 07 looks like current gen, honestly, i dont think they know how to look at details, they just see colours and shapes im sure, underdeveloped eyesight.

Im happy to see the work FIFA have put in for this new next gen title, im sure they are going to win over alot of people with this title great job EA.

still not 100% convinced about hair and clothes, looks like a tiny step up from fifa street 1 where the shirt moved up and down at the back with maybe the sleeves moving up[ and back as well, the hair is shoddy the hair keeps it shape when it moves instead of moving realistically but having said that its still early days and kicks pes' ass

That is being way too picky, do you know what it would take to make strands of hair move somewhat individually?, just not worth the time, and when you see a real person jumping the hair IMO moves similiar to what FIFA shows, the fact is from a tele cam view, you can still see hair move, which is amazing to me.

from shirts wrinkling, to the new animation system of each footstep touching the ground, haven't seen any sliding anywhere yet. This game looks next gen.

I would like to see better faces, more accurate and animated such as going for a header etc....

graphically this fifa is great. But they really need to work on the faces. I don't understand EA, they have the liscences, but a lot of their faces look way off. Pes has better faces.
They also need to change the camera angle of the goal celebrations. What i would like to see is that the camera pans live too the goal scorer in a realistic view like how you see on the television and they should celebrate in real time. Now the goal celebration looks like a cut scene giving a feeling like it's seperate from the rest of the match.

Pfff, man.... without words, what a textures, high poly, the hair, the t-shirts,,,,. Now i can understand why all the Ea sports games sucks in current-gen, they waste all the time on next-gen, specially on 360. I can´t believe that finally we will have REAL 3d renders in game, and moving it smooth. Simply amazing.

Just, i only need to test the gameplay, if is so good as i read, then....well...

So, there´s no national teams in the 360 version??? If not, maybe is the only thing that it lacks,,,,well,,,,and see how grass jumps over the steps, hehehe.....

Argh, could you post a video for to show the Barça players faces, as the Messi one?. Thanks in advance

Anyone who says it looks like past gen (xbox, ps2, why do they call it curren gen when the next gen is already here? anyway...) is on serious drugs. The graphics, animations are superb! Now, lets wait to see about the gameplay.

Exactly some complainers here should take on programming. That looks good.
