Mmm, I can't change teamnames?

To test it I tried changing Arsenal to Assen (my hometown), just for testing purposes.

I converted the db with UniDB to replace the fifa.db, start the game and still it says Arsenal.

Any help would be appreciated (must be something stupid I'm forgetting :P)

Yes, the problem is the following: The FIFA has an other database file, the language file. Therefore you have to overwite the team name in the language file, too. The language file is located on your FIFA 07/data/cmn/fe directory and this file name is: eng.db. You can convert it with UniDB. The FIFA 07 Database is mainly a player editor. :)

Oh my god, thanks a lot! This was exactly what I was looking for! I needed to do changes in a club name, and this method works perfectly! :amika:

Seriously, do you need to have everything chewed and fed for you on the internet these days? Where is the initiative of searching something yourselves?

For those that don't have MS Access you might like to know that a FIFA 07 compatible version of Rinaldo's DB Master will be along shortly (it is being beta tested as I type)

That has also been in beta test over the past couple of days, although I suspect that Rinaldo may well have released it by now

that usually happens if you had saved something, a career, a team or a tournament. You have to erase those files from your fifa07 file before you edit something.
