FIFA 06 Challenges

Does playing friendly matches count towards the FIFA 06 Challenges? ie, if one of the challenges is "Score against a zone 4 team in under 5 minutes" - or whatever - are you allowed to do this in a friendly match or does it have to be done in manager mode?

Edit: Nevermind. Figured out that you can simply press X on a challenge and that sets up the scenario for you :hump:

the challenges are stuff like win the championship and cup from each country, aswell as stuff like "score against a zone 1 team in under 5 minutes on professional" or "beat a 4+ star team from zone 1 with a 1 star or less team". there are alot more obviously

and i have it for ps2 so i cant take screenshots - i havent got a capture card. sorry :P

edit: ah yeah, and you use the points you get from completing challenges to unlock stuff at the "fan shop". stuff like different balls, player bios, 3rd kits and other exciting stuff which i dont wanna ruin for you :P

been trying to find this out for like 3 days from the other aussies but can't seem to get a reply. (i surf, and big fan of mick fanning...does that help?)
