Female Movements To Mens Matches

Hello guys!

FIFA 16 it's a game with good potential, but after playing a lot of DEMO16 games i have 1 conclusion:

- Women gameplay it's a lot better than boys due to far better player movements on the pitch (I'm not referring to AI, but to movements, running, etc. only)

So i've made some investigations in the data files and I found some script files possibly related to this issue - see below:



what i've did: i have copied the script files for women, renamed like the ones related to boys - put it in the data/fifarna/script folder and regenerate ... and .. nothing happen ... why? any ideea why the game it is not reacting to this change?

also the are some other files (related to players scaling) which might have impact on this issue but I don't know how to edit them:



if somebody knows what exactly are these files (related to player scaling) and if they can affect how players moves on the pitch please give me a hand.

I have added male players to the female teams and played games with them. But I'm not sure if they use the male animation set or the female. Maybe try that yourself and see what you think. It might be a help in determining if animations are tied to gender, or league, or...?

Female gameplay and animation is awesome in the demo. Now we'll just have to wait and see how well they wash dishes in the full version.

FINALY MADE IT !!!!!


but we have 2 news: 1 bad, 1 good.

the good one: I have switched all players between Chelsea & USA Female team (directly in the DB - i had modified teamplayerslinks table and boys played beautifully with women moves

the bad one: this is not a reliable this to do (changing team id) ... we have to find what exactly is need it from DB / script in order to transform a boys team to a girls one from gameplay point of view (without messing the db, carrer, etc ...)

so community, please think how we can solve this issue

No you did something wrong then, I added men to the women's teams and their body models were still male.

I already told you this is what I did in my db, but I can't say the men moved like the women, there is so little difference I couldn't tell.

No you did something wrong then, I added men to the women's teams and their body models were still male.

NO! i was refering IF you edit GENDER column from DB. instead of 0 you put 1

Okay I will, maybe tomorrow. This isn't a big issue for me, as I said I don't see all that much difference in their movement. But glad you're making progress with your project.

Unfortunately I was not able to figure out how can I edit this aspect outside the database (by transferring players to women teams ...).

If someone could do more ... it will be great and highly appreciated !!!

I think what you guys are trying to make isn't possible unless we get a way to access all the bones in the players models. Women's models were built from scratch whereas men's models were slightly reworked and tweaked... It doesn't look like they have the new type of rigging that was created for the female models, so their animations probably won't work on the male players

I think you are wrong (partially true what you said regarding building from scratch of women model).

here is my argument: I succeeded to make men (with men models) to move like women by transferring player from men teams to women.

BUT, doing so, we have:

1. discovered that women gameplay is related to team ID which is not helping us very much (we can't change team ID and expecting to work career and so on ...)

2. animations are different men vs women (how player enjoys a scored goal, when he miss, when perform a throw in, etc) so, by transferring boys to women teams ... you make boys moving on the pitch like girls (which we want) but also ... associate the other points related to women gameplay - sounds, animations (things which we don't want to happen)

3. I think we have to discover how we can do this process outside de database by editing (or just simply renaming the files) which affects how players runs/turn/etc .. on the pitch. In the first post i had shown what files MIGHT be ... but no success until now. Maybe is related also to some .RX3 & .SCALE file (see below):



I really think that this community should actively involve in this project because it will totally improve our FIFA experience!

If this is true then you have found that either something in the DB, AttribDB or a script is creating what you are looking for.

Guys, excuse me. I do not really understand. Can I ask you a few important questions for me.
1. If I transfered, for example, Louisa Necib to Juventus, she will stop to use the women's motion capture, and start moving as a men??
2. If I changed gender in DB for example, for Paul Pogba, he will start moving as women's movements or not?

And perhaps the biggest question. Are you absolutely sure that there is a difference? Personally, I think that women's players are moving better, but maybe it's just an optical illusion ...
