OK...How do you get fcdb xp to edit world cup 2002 files?

I got it figured out

OK, so this is how it is...

FIFA world cup 2002 cannot be edited thru FCDB XP 2003, BUT it can be edited thru FCDB XP 2002, or just FCDB XP. They finally fixed the links on www.fifaft.com, so go check it out. ONE MORE THING... the english pack was for FCDB XP 2002, not FCDB XP 2003, so you probably have to get the newer one at www.fifaft.com. If you are still interested in modifying fifa 2002 or world cup 2002, get the old version and use that language pack (don't change the name).

Yeah I worked out what my problem was

installed patches - especially the dutch patch

IMO if anyone has any problems - uninstall all of FIFA2003 delete all data remaining - delete FCDB XP and then reintsall both FIFA and FCDB and go on from there - it appears that FCDB doest work too well with other patchs installed.

Question

I have 2 questions:
1. My computer is on 32bit color but there still is 'the parmeter is wrong' error whan I'm loading the rosters.
2.If I am doing a backup to my dbi. files and re-installing the
fcdb-xp, will I have the same rosters as before I re-installed the program?

Nadsag it could be several things

I noticed that when I got the 'the parmeter is wrong' it was because of a league patch i had installed.

My honest opinion to make this work

Uninstall everything - remove all patches - then reinstall JUST FIFA2003 and FCDB-XP and you wont have any problems

I wouldnt backup those dbi files because thats was causing the error a patch that replaced one or more of those files.

Dont use any league patchs - its more fun to make yourslef and you can improve on them - I only download league patchs now to use kits, flags etc and I make the rosters.

Weeird thing in FCDB XP

I have a weird problem with FCDB XP.

I have transferd Sabri Lamouchi to Inter and it shows it in the FCDB XP but in the game Sabri Lamouchi isn't there and not in Parma.

Bug in FCDB XP 2003
1. the team search button doesn't seem to work... it gives some sorta error in french...

2. help file as already mentioned is still in French even after downloading the patches

3. where is the player search ? it was in FCDB XP for fifa2002...

The player search is at the 'go to' button.(there is a button named 'find'.

Unfortunately, you can't as this requires hex editing.

To import the pitch badges you see before the game starts you can use "Logo Raptor" from Soccer Access.

I can't see the number on the kit when using the kit preview. Can anybody help I've no problem seeing the name and number on the back of the kit when ingame.

You mean the number on the kit? Try changing the value in the 2 boxes that follows the Jersry number and the Short Number
