Iván Marcano, CB from Rubin Kazan is our most recent arrival (yet to be officially confirmed).

I have no idea about his worth, talk to us Arnau.

Massive, gotta start practicing our spanish. :(

Btw that CB duo needs MUCH improvement, unless Rolando Maximiliano "Bruno" is much better than what he showed in the WC.

Juventino knows him, and him saying us getting Indi was a good bet makes me more confident about his value...let's see.
Maicon may not be consensual but I love him. At his best, he is an absolute top CB. Hopefully Lope brings back that best out of him.

That formation I posted is missing a "real" striker. Having a dynamic front trio may be a good thing but I definitely prefer a matador up there.

Especially as a lone striker, of course he's better than Adrián.
I believe he already has a deal to leave, it's just a matter of time now...I'd say he's either going to Liverpool or Valencia.

We should get El fucking Chicharo!

So we can have a lineup with Opare, Indi, Casemiro, Óliver, Tello, Adrián, maybe Evandro, Marcano, and Paciência. That's a lineup that could probably get 1st or 2nd in the league with 9 out of 11 that weren't in the squad last year. Plus Quintero/Herrera that weren't certain starters, Reyes, Kelvin, Sami. I'm not saying it'll be the starting one, but you know, it's pretty good but also something that's not going to be easy because that's LOADS of new people. Having said that though, we have to at least win the league. I mean, if Mangala leaves for 40M (we would get like 22), I'm not even very concerned for the financial side of things. Warrior are paying us more than Nike, and we should get UCL money as well, hopefully move past the group phase. I haven't been paying attention to the friendlies because I hate pre-season friendlies, but yes I admit I'm quietly hopeful and excited like I haven't been since AVB decided to end his career after one year.

Knowing myself, this can all change very quickly though.

Last season Sevilla were in a similar situation (almost a whole new squad) and it took Emery a lot of time to make it perfom.

Yeah that's my main fear. If he's good enough, the title shouldn't be a major problem, but getting through the group phase of CL might.

Reyes with a horrible missed pass for Genk's goal. That's what I mean when I say I'm not sure about CBs, because this type of possession play is always harder with CBs that tend to do this type of shit.

Yeah, Reyes was looking like Abdoulaye out there :kader:
His concentration levels are generally very low, lots of specific work for Lope to do with him.

BTW Ruben Neves looks like an excellent prospect. Only 17!

So it seems like Licá, Josué and Abdoulaye won't be included in the final squad.
Also, Defour and Ghilas are likely to play elsewhere next season. I think Raúl Jiménez will come in to replace Nabil. And I think Paciência lost his spot given Sami's sudden emergence...

Having said that,

this is very close to what our final squad will look like. Only eventual adjustments left are gettting a replacement for Carlos*son (we're trying to get Valencia to pay his release clause), a DM to join Casemiro (Rúben looks awesome but is unlikely to stay with the first team) and maybe a new keeper.

Rumours about Jiménez are too strong lately. When there's so much smoke...

BTW forgot to include Ricardo in that squad, major fail. So sticking to a 25-player group, he'd take Kelvin or C. Eduardo's spot.
