You have a crowded midfield/forward line.

I don't understand why you need Lewandowski. Just to keep him away from Dortmund?

Because he's better than Mandzukic and doesn't cost a transfer fee? But yeah, it IS hard to understand why a club would upgrade its squad for free.

I don't get it either. I'm pretty sure its Bayern reminding the rest of the Bundesliga that they have the most money and they can pay the other clubs' best players even though Bayern really don't need them.

Lewandowski would be better served at Arsenal where he is needed and they have the money to pay whatever he demands.

Mandzukic is not a clinical finisher and Lewandowski represents a significant upgrade. Are we just going to ban good teams from making transfers now? Oh, Bayern certainly didn't need Dante to say nothing of Mandzukic who is just an over priced backup to the great Mario Gomez.

As much as I dislike the bundes for it's murder of Serie A, I don't mind this Bayern move at all - I think its pretty badass much like when City raided Arsenal and overtook them, this is like Bayern swatting away an annoying fly

Bayern has a long history of internal disputes destroying teams. I predict at the start of 2016 we will no longer be viewed as the top team in the world because of something changing the dynamic either within the club or without. I mean, could you imagine if Guardiola found "the mole" and it was Schweinsteiger AND Lahm?

Guardiola is pretty regimental though, he'd probably stem the growth of dissent more than most managers

How is Thiago A doing for you guys? Is he playing games?

He has, although he was out injured for the better part of first half of the bundesliga. He is back on track and Pep has been trying to play him as a holding midfielder. Not really exceeded there yet but neither did Lahm in the beginning, and if I recall it right nor did Pirlo initially when he was moved from being a.fantazista to being the holding midfielder for AC Milan.

Ok thanks. Competition for places for the final Spain NT for the world cup will be pretty tough. LOTS of options available. It will be very difficult for Thiago A.

Javi Martínez
Iniesta
Koke
Mata
Xabi Alonso
Sergio Busquets
Cazorla
Navas
Fabregas
Xavi
David Silva
Isco
Thiago A

Looking at the above list (all midfielders - DMF, CMF, AMF), I think the chance of Thiago getting selected is very very slim but his time will come.
