Neuer - getting probably best goalkeeper in the world at the moment is definitely enormous sign. Good job, Bayern management!
Rafinha - also VERY important sign, covering that rather weak right back/left back area is very important. No we have classy wing backs.

I guess we need one more defender and also one midfield player because losing Hamit is quite decent loss. I don't think we need an extra striker if Klose leaves - having Gomez, Müller, Olic and promising Petersen are enough.

anyway we dont need only a great CB but Jerome Boateng too who can cover any defensive role......

I think Contento grew up as a Napoli fan. Would hate to see him go because LvG spontaneously dropped him for no real reason. Jonker went to him while he was in charge and he was good.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but Ekici, Ottl, Kraft, and Altintop are all out so far with Klose on his way as well (which will free up a TON of wages). Wish we could have kept Ekici and Ottl TBH for reserves, but I suppose they deserve a chance to prove themselves as more than that elsewhere.

It's not just "for no real reason". Every coach have his own coaching style and yeah, looks like many players just did not fit into Van Gaal's plans (Toni, Demichelis, Contento). Ofcourse it's a shame if coach have so complicated personality that it is hard to get along with him.
It's same with Tarmo Kink in Middlesbrough. Gordon Strachan bought Tarmo Kink and then he saw some real action and played often but after Strachan got sacked and Mowbray arrived then no matter if Kink scored or gave assist or whatever he did he is still benched.

Yeah, but Toni, Demichelis, Tymo (until the end) he never liked them. Contento was promoted to the senior team and started at left back for much of the second half of 09/10, and then likewise the first half-ish of 10/11. And then... we didn't see him until Jonker was coach.
