His performance at Stanford Bridge being only 18 years old against Mourinho's Chelsea were memorable too.

Huge match, Athletic - Barça.

Valdés, Alves, Piqué, Mascherano, Abidal, Sergio Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta, Adriano, Messi and Cesc

Midfielders everywhere.

3pts down for Madrid who will hold that until December because they don't drop stupid points like we do

Those are not stupid points. In fact it's a very hard won point. In these conditions I think we have to congratulate the players. They played against a fantastic team, full of strength, and against a rainy night.

I'd take that quote someone posted on SG, with Britannia stadium on a rainy day, and adapt it to San Mames.

In the end, 3 of the 4 goals came from luck or unexpected mistakes.

But we already face all the big teams and they none.

Great match, was a bit of a lottery with such waterlogged field.

Yeah but Bielsa's Athletic style is the opposite to Stoke's. I remember a similar match against Málaga where we won 1-4.

08-09, Xavi free-kick and Messi lucky goal are hard to forget.

But the atmosphere in San Mames is very similar to English supporters.

Genius of Pep to go with Adriano today over Villa

Villa has a minor injury on the shinbone, that's why he isn't playing. Adriano did great, better than Alves (the other winger). Alves is world best RB but average winger, he's good appearing by surprise not taking the ball and dribbiling.

The tie in Anoeta when we were winning 2-0 was silly points lost. The tie with Sevilla when we have a penalty in the 90+ minute was silly from the opportunity we had to win it, but Sevilla deserved fully the tie.

I think we were forced to win tonight, 3pts is too much coushin for Madrid. They will get through December with a 3pt lead because they win games like this more often than we do.

Didn't know Villa has minor injury, I would have like to see Cuenca today. I think Adriano is good, but when we desperately need a goal, he hardly ever is the one to push one in.

They haven't played a game like this yet. And we better stop making "quinielas" because teams usually drop point where no one expect. (Levante and Racing). I agree the tie at Anoeta were silly (an acident) but we did awesome against Sevilla, 21 shoots against a team that parked the bus is an impressive stat.

Agree about Anoeta, disagree about Sevilla. They defended very well, but still we had a lot of chance + the penalty. We should've won that.

I'd add the Valencia game with 2 ungiven penalties, but with a totally dominated first half by them.

Cheers to Athletic, fantastic team with some great youngsters. Muniain is serious business, Ander classy midfielder and Javi Martínez something like the white Yaya. Bright future with Bielsa hope they can keep players like Llorente, Aurtenexte, Amorebieta, Iturraspe, Javi Mtz, Muniain...

Shame they're all very hard to get, and all you can grab from this team is Santi Ezquero (H)

Just curious, I was reading about controversy in football and saw a list of players who were banned for taking the steroid nandrolone and was surprised to see Guardiola on the list. I read he was cleared after appealing the charges so what happened?
