I was the one defending him ...

he was getting stick for the Walcott goal from the 1st leg against the Arse ... but something similar happened in the 2nd leg, this time with Abidal ... after that, I think it was clear that isolating Maxwell without doing the same for Abidal would have been hypocritical and/or biased ...

That was one of the best 1st halfs we've had this season... Great play. We had 78% possesion in one moment of the 1st half and a lot of chances to score. Too bad Dani's scissor kick didn't get in. Would have been goal of the month for sure

Well, from what I'm seeing, I'm liking that yellow trim on the sleeve.

But, I don't think it's gonna be the same design as Atletico one, since probably Barça won't go with the same strips as this year. But, from the pic, it looks that it is the same design.

Hopefully, we gonna have a pic in the coming days.

it's funny how yellow was never a trim colour on the home kit until Nike came in ... they flitted between gold and yellow for the trim initially, but yellow has been used so consistently since 2002/03 that it's presence has been become a staple choice, a "traditional" choice, an identifiable mark ... I personally prefer the gold trim of the 2001/02 home strip ... and there really would be no better time to bring gold back than right now ... but it looks like that won't be happening ...

furthermore, I disliked the 07/08 kits with a vengeance (both the home and away kits) ... which is why when it turned out that that season was the ebb of our fortunes in recent years, I really was not fussed ... consign that season and its kits to oblivion!

so I really hope it is not going to be anything like that design ... if Nike are going back to older designs, I'd like to see them bring back the first nike kit produced for us in 98/99 ... and hopefully with round-neck collar this time ...

and I want gold or grey/silver for the away kit ...

Funnily enough the 07/08 home kit is perhaps my favorite ever. And a gold or silver away kit sounds nice, we had that a few years back, and it was one of my favorites too, I think that was when Jari played for us.
