Pep is even making gestures about pushing and elbowing in the video, so what would that have to do with refs making backtofront decisions?

Guys, Saud mentioned one good point at last, why Pep's not using Yaya Toure that much.

I can understand that Bosquets is a talented player and will have a great future but he makes some disaster mistakes sometimes, do you think there should be a rotation or Yaya should have an edge?

BuSQUETS.

He's much more fit than Touré, unfit Yaya make much more "disaster mistakes" than Busi.

Ps: eh, and his name is funnier as well, Busquets mean something like little forest.
Ps2: lol at Xifio sign (H).

hell yeah, what a nickname. It reminds me another little delicious thing, you made me ... 5:30 AM in a morning. Can't wait to watch the match and then sleep.

man, Leo is on fire ... the second goal was more Mad Jens' fault, but the first was top shelf! (pun intended)

Zlatan was desperate to score ... good to see him get an assist ...

a couple of interesting formations tried today due to the luxury of being 2-3 goals up ... hopefully Pep understood something from that ...

can't wait for Friday's draw ... I want Man Yoo ... I want to avoid Inter because I want them to meet us in the final ...

this is my ideal draw:
Code:
Barcelona-Man Yoo
Bordeaux-Arse
Inter-CSKA
Lyon-Bayern

Barcelona-Bordeaux
Inter-Lyon

Barcelona-Inter
teams listed first are the ones I want to go through ... I think there are some excellent match-ups there ... I really hope the fates conspire to make it happen ... the only change I would accept is swapping Barcelona and Inter, because I would be just as happy to see José, Samu, Wes, and the rest beat Man Yoo ...

lol didn't you notice before? sinze Málaga match we are playing a 4-2-4 but Busi and the other midfielder NEVER play in the same line, for example Yaya yesterday played more advanced.

yeah, quite often in recent weeks the team has shifted to a 4-2-1-3 (not 4-2-4), with Messi in the "hole" as the trequartista, to link up better with Zlatan (or whoever the #9 of choice is for the day) -- because, whatever Pep's instructions, the #9 seems to get a little too isolated up front this season (it has to do with the instructions, not because Eto'o is no longer there) ...

the change didn't work as well initially ... but the team has adapted to it steadily, and yesterday was obviously a good day ... I still think Messi's passing range needs a lot of development if he has to operate in the middle, though his ability is obviously still quite decent -- he is not anywhere near Xavi or Ronaldinho (not least in his prime) in that department yet; but he is growing, and there is no reason why he can't succeed in that department too ...

Two finals repeat each other in only the QFs :P

As long as Barca win in the Bernabeu I'm happy. I don't care against who. Barca will probably have to be very careful with Mourinho if the two teams meet in the semis; then again if Rijkaard can do then surely San Pep will. Just as long as Cesc comes back to the Camp Nou for real next season. ;)

Yup! Second leg at home! (H)

And Cesc will be playing at Camp Nou! (H)

Also, if we advance through, we'll again play the second leg at home, probably against Inter. The only sad part of this draw is that probably, we gonna play with our third kits if we advance to the final.

But, overall, I'm very happy with the draw!

What's "sad" about it? The only difference will be the jersey colour. Last season you guys played in home colours. Can't be the same everytime.

wow what a cracking tie. Just when Arsenal are hitting form too. Will be there chance to prove they can beat big teams as well. This will be THE final for them, it wont be easy.

he can call it what he wants, but it was a 4-2-1-3 out there ...

Arnau;2837381 said:
yeah, saw that on Sport ... funny thing is that CSKA is 2A, while Inter is 2B ... no need to look too much into it, but Sport are saying that CSKA is considered semifinal scenario "A", while Inter is considered scenario "B"! a subtle slap in Mourinho's face? (H)

@Buti: don't worry, I noticed you changed the Spanish flag next to Barcelona's name to the Catalan flag :sKIp_E: when you posted the Champions League draw in the Champions League thread ...
