I know this is probably some bull**** rumours but Rooney would not want to play on the left side. Unless Guardiola plays him in the centre and Zlatan on the left side.

I really don't see that happening. If we're going for an attacker it's probably Suarez or some other young potential forward, not already proven superstar with high price tag - we already have Zlatan.
