Sitting out half a season gives you only half a season to earn that spot - I don't know what would happen if he missed the whole season

I think Pogba would be a perfect replacement for Iniesta, who is not in decline by any means just yet. He's more physical, yet brilliant on the ball. Also likes to play on the left side in central midfield in an advanced role getting forward a lot. I hate comparing players like that, though. Each and every one is unique. And while replacing somebody, you don't have to get exactly an identical player. Pogba wouldn't be a bad choice at all. He would also bring something different into the team, but I'm hoping that he's going to stay at Juve for at least a couple of seasons more.

I believe that Laporte also signed a new contract for Athletic Bilbao raising his buyout clause to 45 or 50 million euros. How do you feel about him and would you still like to have him in your squad?

Otamendi is more experienced, but Laporte is way younger and most likely has a great future ahead of him.
