What is your favourite international tournament you have followed?

My favourite has to be World Cup 98, because it was a excellent spectacle, and the final score in the final wasn't expected either.
Oh, and my mum's cousin scored for Scotland against Norway
Thats Craig Burley by the way.

I think the '94 tournament was the first one I followed, and it seemed quite special to me at the time... As far as emotions are concerned, England- Portugal in the '04 Euros. I was screaming at the TV by the end of it.

WC 1998... great tournament, a lot of stars, and at a decent hour WC02 sucked because the games were broadcasted at 2-3am the final was at 7am.

There was no EC in 1998. It´s played every four years (1996 in England/2000 in Holland-Belgium). My favourite tournaments were the Euro2000/2004 and the Wc 98.

WC 2002 because Germany made it to the Final and Turkey came in 3rd.

WC1994 - the first football tournament I followed, so there are fond memories for me.

EC1996 - home tournament, remember it well as England got so far..

EC2004 - unexpected results and some great football IMO (especially the match between Holland and the Czechs)
