Fantasy PES

The Guys on here came up with a great idea for having a fantasy FIFA game, I wondered what the interest would be in in a fantasy PES game using the PES engine instead. I would probably use PES2 on PSX (so I can run in emulation on PC). The idea being we have players sign up, choose their own stats, etc. They then get picked by managers, a group of mods would then play the games in sim mode, describing the action and probably having replays online.

Each player/manager would then also have to deal in media duties (giving the wrong answer would lose you points), managers could try to buy/sell players.

See fantasy.soccergaming.com for the idea. I think this would work even better with the Konami series as there is more opportunity for making your player individual.

Each player would say be given 1200 points (for example), plus 1 star to give themselves.

Then there would be a "Star Player" Draw (random). Giving out a number of stars so:

Additional 10 stars for 1 player.
Additional 8 stars for 2 players.
Additional 5 stars for 5 players.
Additional 3 stars for 10 players.
Additional 2 stars for 20 players.
Additional 1 star for 40 players.

Id like to know what interest there is and any ideas people have. Also what problems do you see?

1. How do we do selections? One good thing about PES is the Arrow system, do we ignore this?

2. Suspension system? How to work it?

Unknown Stars

Maybe the mods could do a hidden draw, where we assign 5 stars to some players but we dont tell them. It would then be up to the managers to discover them, this gives that "unknown young player" breaking through.

maybe not PES2 for PSX as its "shote", maybe we would have to do on PS2 but what about replays (no longer possible really)
