I would love to see defensive struggles in Fifa 2004 ... every version so far you can always score at wil i'd love to see games where the keeper and defence's play amazing and stop your attackers .... i would also like to see teams realisticly seeded ... ie Newcastle are better than liverpool so i would like to see liverpool struggle against them in the league if i was neutral ... i dont want it to be easy for liverpool , man u and arse like always

A FANTANSY DRAFT !!!!!!!!11

its my favourite feature in NBA live .. it would work well in a new franchise mode. .. i know it leaves the simulation of things but its alot of fun when all the club teams get a bit boring

What do you mean with a Fantasy Draft? Sorry, never played NBA live.

its when there is a random lottery for all the teams in the league which means the lakers could have the first pick sixers the second...random teams and they get to select the best players available. Say if athletic madrid in la liga had the first pick they could select the best player in the league then the next team could have the next best team. Its like the college draft without college players.

yeah pretty much as said above ...
if i selected Liverpool i would have 0 players in Fantasy draft mode and then if i have 1st pick in the draft i can pick anyone out of all the EPL players to put in my squad ... then all 20 teams pick and we start again .... its a good fun way of having a dream team realistically ..at the moment my nba fantasy team is Miami with Ilgauskas at C , Duncan at PF, Sprewell at SF, Posey at SG and Nash at PG .... this sort of team is in reality a possablity ... it would suck if the pc picked random players and i could get kobe . tmac and Cweb in the first three rounds...
trust me you'll like it ....

Seems EA are looking into it according to Fifa2004.ea.com

i know that but this is a feature in all ea sports games except nascar and tiger woods. You can turn fantasy draft on or off. Its usually a fun thing in nba live and madden to see some of the players and how good they are and just to have a fun time when your bored with your friends. We dont mean by college drafts like in mls. Thats different.

but nba and madden and nhl have a draft.... because there is one in real life... soccer is about transfers.. earning money and then selling and buying players... is always been that way.. they should keep it that way

Yeah its a very good idea!
In NBA its very nice to choose your own team but its all the players. If its gonna be in fifa i think it should be for ex. only the players who play in england and not all players from arround the world, it would be a big mess, and take a day!!

but i actually dont think its something thats gonna be in fifa04...

It is not a real thing! why do you think the name is FANTASY DRAFT!?

what you mean is that they are changing players and not spending money on em like in NHL and NBA!!

what we mean is that all the players starts with no club and then all the teams (Random) like in NBA gonna pick a player and then the next team until all the players are been picked!! and then you play a real tournament.. do you understand now!! its all FANTASY TEAMS!!

I think it would be a nice variation if you're bored with the rest But definitely only one league at the time, or you could allso choose which teams will participate for example.

Itd be nice to have an OVERALL DRAFT with all the players from the league, and as you select and try to make the best team, your roomate is picking his best players, and in by the 16th pick youve got someone really sucky, but youd have to negotiate through these things and talk it over. All of this while still being able to trade and make transfers available and believable.

I don't think you could ever pick Van Nistelrooy and Owen in the same team. Otherwise the computer AI would be REALLY bad!

What a hideous idea! I mean ,what the hell is the point? EA spend hours upon hours getting everything authentic, including things like team rosters, and people create patch after patch to get things even more realistic. A fantasy draft would undermine all of this. As a Liverpool fan I want to play as the 'real Liverpool', even if they are crap these days. Having Ruud and Henry show up for training at Melwood at the start of next season would be great, but it's never going to happen, so I really don't want that in a game either. Remember coming up against Bolton (or was it Derby) in Fifa 2001...at the Nou Camp!!? Just felt ludicrous didn't it. Just sooooo wrong. It would be just the same seeing Beckham and Pires come running out in Liverpool shirts or facing Owen playing for Charlton. Just WRONG. At the end of the day, if one has the urge to create a 'dream team' or shake things up it is still possible (in a sense) by messing around with the team management, but please, let's not take up valuable disk space with something like this.
