The funny thing is, first time I heard Panic at the Disco I thought their "singer" sounded EXACTLY like the one from Fall Out Boy, I mean really.

But yeah, kids need to grow up and listen to real music like Pantera, Tool, Meshuggah , Strapping Young Lad and so on.

Its exactly the same thing in other industries as well (rap, pop). The artists are just exploiting the commercial movement by bringing in the same crap that they know the younger audience will get caught in and buy their crap.

Well regarding Fall Out Boy, I believe their lead singer was big into the hardcore underground punk scene in Chicago before he decided to make some money. Hence creating Fall Out Boy. If you have a problem with that you are a lot dumber than the guys in Fall Out Boy.
