He is recognizable but the biggest problem are his eyes, the are too big according to his face, or make face bigger or eyes smaller, wrong proportions between eyes and head size.
More pointed jaw, too wide eyebrows, make them shorter, maybe make face more wider in cheeks area but not sure, nose smaller, don't know what to advice more.

he has no freckles mate,he had some pimples on the face,but not anymore,take a look:

the only thing he has is skin blemishes,I tryed to make them,but its hard to find a good pic,so I took from 9cam textures.

I like the update a lot, I also agree with you on his appearance currently.

freckles simply just don't dissapear of a face, you can see in that pic he has freckles in his forehead and around the mouth, use them from that other texture and it will be ready

PS: pimples(temporary) is different of freckles(permanent)
