I'm in season 2010-2011 and i started dennis bergkamps replacement ( Kew Bakens ) who is usually bald, I scored a goal with him and noticed that he now had hair and looks like dennis bergkamp, the next time I got the ball with him the commentator called out bergkamps name.. it only happened in one match though... has this happened to anyone else???

Yup. Happens all the time. The game thinks the replacement is Bergkamp.

all the replacements on mine look indentical to the previous players and the commentator says our the previous players name.

eg: Carlton Ashton - Darren huckerby
Rothen - Henry
Pansera - Vieri

Yup on the player bio bit its got the generic face but the real face is actually a specific face. O.Sanchez from guadajalara has a generic face on player bio but on real game he has own specific face !

I have a belief that if you buy the replacements early, they develop into good players. I got Henrys replacement at 2 stars and now hes 3. I am doing the same with Luis Garcia replacement. Is this true?

they come good for the teams they start at

thats right... I got Zidanes replacement, he is only 23 years old and has a skill rating of 94, i reckon he wuikll turn out to be the best player in the game

well..i got Roy Keane's replacement and he has the same cinematic as keane's. havent heard the name though in the commentary.
I have one problem: When i buy a player, the commentators dont say his name when he is playing in my team. But if i play him with his original team then his name is commented.

e.g. i bought Ronaldinho,Torres,Vicente and their names r not spoken by the commentators
