Just when you thought Jaboldinho was going to have an early lead, the rest of the pack catches up to him, especially Xifio, with this week's top score. Interestingly, the points scored this season has yet to eclipse the double figures margin. 19 cars finished the race, more than most of us expected. Still, there 15 more Grand Prixs so anything can happen. Anyway, cheers.

edit: Jaboldinho should have gotten 2 points because he made his prediction 4 mins before qualifying, which still allows him to be eligible for the pole points.


Firstly, a very big thank you to newbie original for his contribution to this thread. And a thousand apologies for the lateness of the updated tables and standings, mainly because Michael Ballack spoiled my weekend. Nevertheless, it was a return to form for the PL as the points average improved GREATLY. One man to thank for is Tom, with his accurate prediction prior to qualifying. He has Alonso's broken down engine to thank for. But Jaboldinho still holds on to his tied for first spot and Xifio is not that far behind.

Yup, there should have been 2 points for Jaboldinho's early prediction. I've reattached the corrected standings and points breakdown.

So the top 7 are separated by a total of 8 points. Also, quite the impressive debut by bybuti...just shows that the next 4 in the standings(although off the pace right now) could easily make up the difference in just one good race.
