Porto play against Manchester United in the first leg of their fourth round tie next Wednesday(feb.25th) with the return leg at Old Trafford on 9 March.

It's a little early but I cant wiat for this game, too bad we cant use Maciel and Sérgio Conceição our new signings. Our best player DERLEI aka Ninja is out for the season that is our big blow, also Peixoto is still recovering from his injury against Marseille.

We have many great options out, but have to do the job with what we got now, hope Benni can get hot again, we need BigMac to hit the target, also we will need our "magico 10" to have a great game, Deco needs to show up.

We might see youngster Carlos Alberto play a role, I doubt we will see Bruno Moraes. Instead Jankauskas will fit in as he is a big presence and might open us space.

Costinha to the back I feel is solid, we just need to create some chances and Benni has to put them away, it will be a hard game. Again I miss Ninja this would be so diferent if he was not hurt. As he shows up in every game unlike some we got now.

ManU info? Can you manchester fans give us the info on you?

I know Rio is suspended and that is also a blow for you as he is your best defender.

Luis Saha- damm it now we have to worry about this french man as he is on fire also scoring, scored for France too in their friendly.

RVN-DANGEROUS in the box a goal poucher, I feel we have to put two on him always in the box give no space or the dutchman will punish us.

Ronaldo has been great lately, will he start? In Portugal against Porto he never had a big game, his too many tricks and cross overs dident fool nobody in the Porto defence, unlike UK.

Giggs- my favorite ManU player the only one I actually like, this guy has game, pure class unlike keano.

That's quite possible since both teams are known for their attack, not for solid defending.

A draw at Porto home ground would be a good results, prefer a win though, need to go there and score an away goal, could be vital for us in the 2nd leg.

NO this is a FCP-ManU and what I am saying is his tricks on Porto dident work, but he is dangerous and we have to keep a eye on him if he does play or start as he is a good crosser. FCP need's to worry about a guy called RVN, but ManU have many wepons like Scholes,Saha,Giggs,Keane,etc...

Dont take any harm to CR7 comments I can see you love him, but he does tend to fall way too much off anything, so Porto need's to watch for that even RVN is known for that, just like our Deco.

It's going to be a great match, as said 2 attacking sides going all out, Porto has a big task ahead, but I beleive we can pass ManU and go to final 8.

I asked if it was going to be a [P+R] thread. Do you know what that is?
I know they need to worry about all those players. I like Manchester United. I dont like Cristiano Ronaldo that much but I do appreciate the job he is doing representing Portugal in England, Dont you? I feel people are hyping him too much. But you are acting like Porto completely shut him down when at the time he was 17 years old. I really dont care who wins this game since i am portuguese and would like to see Porto go far in this tournament. Calm down by the way.

dunno who to support here.... Man U's been my favourite european team for a while but Porto is from my city... I guess I'll be happy for whoever wins and disapointed for whoever loses... But without Costinha (on 1st leg), Derlei, Maciel and S Conceiçao I preddict it will go Man U's way....

Costinha is a big blow, as he is in card trouble, we need a big game from Pedro Mendes.

Damm what more can go wrong for this 1st leg, and ManU is picking up form again.

Costinha annoys me a lot sometimes. He is very good in the air and is a pretty good defensive mid. But he makes the baddest fouls. But he is very good on Dead ball situations in the air.

Only thing not right about portugal's best stadium was the pitch and we solved that by telling RED where to go, and hiring a UK company that did ManU's pitch. Now we finally got the grass! 3rd time better be right, as the first 2 from RED was a disgrace.

what about Petit. All this guy know how to do is foul aswell.Except he's worse than Costinha. Costinha nows how to head, score, and defend extremely well. He can even play centre defense, all Petit can do is foul, for example the Portugal-England game. That tackle from behind on Scholes was horrific.

I know , I dont like Petit either even though Im a Benfica fan. Its just i wasnt mentioning him because hes not involved in the match.
