We won the Montjuic game, the trophy is ours, unless Espanyol can beat us in the Nou Camp ( :rofl: ) , which is highly, highly unlikely. I'm not being arrogant, but it's Espanyol and Barcelona we're talking about. I just wanted us to win this leg to secure the title before the rematch.

Well they pretty much have no chance of beating us on the field....that's like last year, when those teams were trying to protest about Messi.

And vitu he used to be a starter at Barca....then again, that was before we got Etoo.....

Saviola and Eto'o are totally different, man. I highly doubt he can play as the main striker.

If Ronaldinho, Messi and Eto'o are the first 3 choices, in the current squad, Saviola is certainly 4th. Why is there any harm in keeping him??? I dont understand

Of course they are totally different, but if you look at the formation Rijkaard uses, Saviola fits better on the RWF or LWF spot, where you have Messi and Giuly, and Ronaldinho and Ezquerro.

Savilola is obviously better than Ezquerro, but .....

Too much salary

Read some of the previous comments here about the issue.

This has already been hashed out excessively...
The problem with him is not as a player, the problem is his contract is too high for a backup.

If it were me, I would have said the Supercopa had been decided the moment we found out who the Cup winners were, and that would be solely out of disrespect towards the miserable little white and blue humanity embarassments on Montjuic.

Come to think of it, I wouldn't show a shred of respect towards Espanol if I was given a wage for it.


We're having a thrashing on Sunday, even more so after they appealed

The competition committee rejected the appeal. Espanyol will appeal again.

They have no chance. There was a similar case, Aloisi didn't play with Australia and he played a few days later with Osasuna. Mallorca reported Osasuna and at the end nothing happened.


Whatever. I just hope Barça beat them on Sunday. I want humiliation. Then they can appeal all the times they want.
