Neovico, I have to praise your posts structure. This only a theory of mine, of course, so please correct me if I'm wrong.

i.e.:

Márquez, Edmilson, Zambrotta, Sylvinho and Gio will be not against At.Madrid. <-- usually a deep and insightful message to all of us, sharing a little of your immeasurable knowlegde.

Take care <-- shows concern for fellow posters, and it is also a warning not to misbehave or else the post will be reported and further measures will be taken. Very clever.

The Mind <-- This is the turning point where you actually reckon you have a mind. Awesome. The one, the only, the all mighty mind! Pure class. Conveys the message "fear me" raising a scary feeling among the inferior mindless mortals.

Neovico, being a Barça fan myself (my favourite spanish team) and therefore following this thread whenever I can please accept my congrats and thank you Sir for gracing us with your posts :Bow:

Why is the match tomorrow not today? Last I checked it was 20/12 - 2006!

maybe cuz of our club world cup game, i dunno.

anyway, i just wanted u guys to check out this article i just read on soccernet. doesn't have to do with the game tomorrow, but it's an interview with eto'o. some of his comments are amazing, my personal favorite:

"My recovery has gone perfectly and I'm not afraid to set the bar high for the remainder of the season. I want to be part of a Barca side that defends its Spanish and European titles. It's not out of the question that I could finish as top scorer in the Liga. I'm coming back feeling very confident.

that's the confidence we need right now. can't wait to see him playing again!!!

great article check it out:

Here´s CAVA man, champagne is in France,,,,may be you need a bit more of culture.

Do not talk to me about culture. I know Cava (freixenet, etc.). Anything outside from Reims and Epernay is considered sparkling wine. But, Spain imports champagne just like the rest of the world. My friend, I am very cultured...have a couple of very good degrees, travelled like crazy, have friends from all cultures, am into the arts, work in Public Relations in New York and part of my job is to read read read, travel travel travel. This comment is totally stupid. You have become such an uptight @sshole IMO....

you talked about MY country, so i didnt say anything about your country,

No, I talked about your region. and I'm sorry but not all Barca supporters are like you and you know this. Many are quite violent themselves and are very extremist in their views and if you do't agree then you are an enemy but then again you wouldn't agree to this...

Ironic? I'm not extremist or violent!
Neovico (Aragorn) is really running away with this. I mean geez, the guy really needs to lighten up. He always has a sermon for people...Don't know why he takes every damn comment on the internet so seriously...anyway...

P.S- Your english is perfect. Don't know why people apologize cause they don't master a language!

Awful display by Barça tonight. Ronaldinho is damm slow lately, he stops too much facing the defender and is always getting tracked back by another one. The timing of the passes was terrible and no one bothered making runs through the defence. Both Iniesta and Xavi had a pair of chances, going straight to the goal... and they just stopped and turned back.
They really lacked verticality.

a deserved tie imo; we both played crappy and i agree about the verticality ; but a point is a point plus i think we have a game with betis pending right?

Good luck forward!

Barça should have had a bigger difference at half time, but they only scored once. Barça dominated the first half. Completely. Then Atlético took their chance and Barça players were tired. Gudjohnsen missed the best chance. Barça should have won this. Rijkaard deserves a slap in the face today. We needed a goal and he took off Gudjohnsen for Ezquerro when Saviola was on the bench.

i cant tell u guys how many times during the game today i was like, omg IF ONLY eto'o was playing!! there were so many chances that noone could put away, and thats when u need a finisher. ezquerro sucks, he had that one amazing chance where i believe xavi played a perfect dummy and he blew it. soooooo many chances, should have finished it in the first half. if eto'o isn't back for the next game, which he probably won't be, saviola has to play at some point.

oh, was anyone else about to have a heart attack when at the end of the game our defensive line was:

beletti----puyol---MOTTA:(----oleguer <-----that's pretty bad

Jaboldinho

Thuram will be out for 5-6 weeks. He got injured against At. Madrid. From our next game against Getafe, Ronaldinho and Deco won't also play because they got too many yellows.

Eto'o boost for Barcelona

Cameroon's Samuel Eto'o is recovering from his right knee injury quicker than expected and should be back in training in mid-January.

The Barcelona striker wasn't expected to return until February after tearing and displacing the meniscus during a Champions League game at Werder Bremen on 27 September.

"Eto'o is improving faster than predicted. He is a great athlete," Barcelona doctor Ramon Cugat said on Saturday.

However, Cugat also urged caution.

"We shouldn't celebrate too early. The meniscus requires great respect," he added.

The Cameroon international, who hopes to play against Liverpool on 21 February and 6 March in the second round of the Champions League, has missed 19 of the European and Spanish champion's games.
