We'll have to wait. Until la Liga is closed and PSV out of the CL I don't think Laporta confirms anything, although I'm sure they're already in contact with the players who may come in the summer. Remember last time, the media said it was closed but last week they said he was close to sign with Milan.. Today's here, tomorrow's there. We'll have to wait to the confirmation, there's nothing certain until then.

About Evra, he impressed me last year in CL, I hope it's true.

Yeah, we could need a class LB, i think he is in his early 20's, so he's pretty young, Ludo's former teamate of course. :D

I haven't heard anything new. If only sport confirms it, it is not enough.

About Evra, it depends if Gio stays. He has an offer from some dutch team, AZ I think.

Feyenoord wanted Van Bronckhorst... but he immediatly said no, and that he might wanted to come in 2/3 years.

Both offers are €19m/year + 3-6m according to the results. It would be the best paid t-shirt in Europe, it's not a shame, man. All the sponsors will look awful anyway so..

it would be stupid not to accept, since Barca is in need of the money. this would enable them even more money for transfers, and would make the club financially stable. sure it'll look bad on the shirt, but would you rather stay in massive debt?

there's no discussion. We need those milions ... as simple as that.

about 70% of the chances to Beijing right now. I prefer this offer.

Eto'o: "We're the leaders an everyone knows we've played the best football"

Taken from www.fcbarcelona.com

An this exclusive interview with fcbarcelona.com, Samuel Eto'o claims Barca have shown themselves well worth their spot at the top of the Spanish League this season.

After his injury against Getafe, Samuel Eto'o was back in the starting line up for the 0-4 win at Malaga and when we spoke to him after the game, he was clearly full of confidence in both his own recovery and the team's performance.

How are you feeling now after your injury?

"The truth is I feel fantastic I couldn't be better."

Were you worried about your knee during the game ? There were one or two heavy tackles weren't there?

"Yes, César Navas got me just where I picked up the knock against Getafe, but I felt fine that kind of tackle is what you expect in these kind of games".

So, what was it like having to watch the team from the sidelines while you were injured?
"You always suffer more watching from the stand. The best thing todo is to work hard at getting back as quickly as possible. I think the team has played really well though."

Does the win in Malaga show that the pressure is more to do with people off the pitch than the players?

"I've always said that the pressure is something the fans feel -for us football is a game and we're here to enjoy it. Some days you win and some you lose once you've accepted that, there's no need to worry".

What do you think of the claims in Madrid that Barca are leaders because they've had help from the referees?

"We're leaders and everyone's seen we've played the best football, won the most games and taken the most points. Maybe it's normal when your behind to talk about the teams above you, but since there's no one ahead of us, I've nothing to say".

What's the key to winning the league now?

"We just have to keep on doing things as we have done so far this season then we'll see what happens".

You're also on course to win your first Pichichi award as the league's top scorer did you ever think your first season at Barca would be so good?

"I knew I'd have to play at my very best . I've always said there'd be more goal chances for me at Barca and I've worked hard and had a bit of luck so far and I'm happy with how things are turning out".

What's helped you settle in so quickly at the club and in the city?

"I think the fact that all the people at the club were so keen for us to do well and win something has helped the players fit in together".

With Oleguer and Gerard scoring against Malaga, it shows the team's strength lies across the whole pitch not just in one or two individuals, doesn't it?

"I think almost every player in the team has scored this season. At Malaga it was Oleguer and Giuly, who's scored quite a few this year, as well as Gerard who I think deserves more credit he's put in some great games this season, even if the press don't always recognise it. His goal was a reward for all the hard work his put in throughout the season - he's a great fighter and is always there to help the team out when needed. His goal showed all those qualities".

lol.. :funny: I love this quote.
"We're leaders and everyone's seen we've played the best football, won the most games and taken the most points. Maybe it's normal when your behind to talk about the teams above you, but since there's no one ahead of us, I've nothing to say".

Plain truth... :jambo:

GARCIA: BRING ON CHELSEA
Steve Hunter 27 April 2005

"They are just men and players like us. I do not think there is a favourite in this game. It will be very even, just like all the other games between us this season but I am confident there will be lots of goals.

"One thing we can guarantee is the emotion and spectacle because these games are going to be amazing.

"I want to win not only for Liverpool but also for Barcelona who Chelsea beat. I want revenge for that and the Carling Cup Final. I now play in the red of Liverpool but in my heart I will always remain a Barcelonista."

Galliani: PSV's Van Bommel on way to Barcelona

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has accepted defeat in his pursuit of PSV Eindhoven captain Mark van Bommel.

Milan were challenging Barcelona for the Holland international, who is leaving PSV on a Bosman at the end of the season.

On the day that news broke of a three-year deal agreed between Barca and Van Bommel, Galliani admitted: "I believe that Van Bommel will be player of Barcelona.

"I don't believe we need him, we already have good players in that area of the pitch."
