Yo,

I wanna have the new player names, and changes to the menu, but I wanna keep my WEN, and ish' I unlocked and bought (Player Transfers...It was hell saving up that 10k!)...is this possible?

I know you gotta have two memory cards, but exactly what do I do? I would appreciate somewhat of a step by step explanation (well, not all steps, but you know what I mean)...

Tristan, Liam, etc...help a brotha' out!

Thanks in advance

Well for me the patch did not change the team names, since I already changed them, and I also used my We6 FE option file to load some of the players names when I first got the game.... so what I did then is , after patch was installed.... I let it load my optin file that I have been using for my ML with WEN etc.. I went through each national team, and for all the players still in japanese I went to edit, name and the went to the very bottom left option (still in Japanese) which is DEFAULT, hit that and it turned the name into the real name in english. I did that through all the national teams (remember for Holland and Germany you will also have to change their SHIRT NAME to default) and I then went through all the clubs and did the same thing.. so the patch is there, the ML and wen, and preferences all set, and all player name are correct. A little time consuming, takes about 2 hours to do them all I think.

When the patch involves teams that have had their rosters updated, stats and formations changed, I believe you HAVE to delete your old option file, correct?! Just changing the names to default in edit mode fixes the name problem, but appearance and stats and all that mess won't be fixed. So if it's just an english translation patch without updated teams, etc. then doing the default name thing will be perfect since then you wouldn't be missing out on the point of the patch. This is just my guess on all of this, don't quote me!;)

Where do I change player names to default? Is there a master reset option? Do I have to go team-by-team, and how? Or, do I have to......do it player by player ?:o

You have to go to each and every player. When you edit the names, there is a left side where you choose which "alphabet" to use and on the right you choose which "letter" (lack of better words). The last option on the left side is used to set the names back default

I'm still pretty sure i read about a way to do it with 2 memory cards!

You create a new options file on the second memory card...then reboot the game, with ur own memory card in slot 1, and the other memory card with the plain options file in slot 2. Copy data via the option in the option's file menu...and insert that into ur actual loaded option's file in memory card 1...is this possible?
