Ok,

Even if EA created the best game ever, that took all ideas from these boards, and other boards, there would still be a board complaining. Now I understand that complaining is all part of the proccess...

BUT I'M HERE TO PRAISE THE GAME!

This game has redeemed EA for their release of Fifa 2002 (very disappointing game, even though I play it all the time). The touches in this new game are unbelieveable, and when I play my expanded demo, many times, I am astounded at a new move that I hadn't seen before.

Much Respect to EA...

But WC 2002 can be a lot better, Ea isnt making a good job...

You are being fooled by the cosmetics in that game, and most of the play in that game is of a Comic and Idiotic content, did you ever try to control any header or could you even head the ball in the intended direction, or in fact play an extended game in a balanced and realistic way, but if you enjoy playing the game and can get some value out of it, by all means go for it.

I can't respect EA so much, because I think they DID KNOW how to program the WC2002 improvements from FIFA2002 when they were programming FIFA2002!! So they should put these new improvements in FIFA2002, not wait for the next game of the FIFA series.

It does not seems to me that they were thinking WC2002 just after making FIFA2002 and suddenly... *beep! new idea!*

Already ordered it!

Like some kind of idiot who won the idiot championship against a spectacular pool of competition idiots on steroids, for some reason I've already ordered and paid for the game.

If I'd have know the superhero headers would have still been in the final version I probably wouldn't have bothered. Every time I try to play the demo I end up winning by scoring headers from the half way line that are so fast the camera can't keep up.

I'm surprised the animated managers at the side aren't running on the field demanding a drugs test or to see whether I have an adversion to Kryptonite.

The animations are great but to leave in such a stupid freaking bug makes you wonder how much playing time the final testers did.

Well, Matt from Soccergaming kindly informed me that the version he's playing (which I don't think is the final version!), is a bit different from the demo (most likely for the better!) and the so called 'CRAZY' headers happen a lot less often, so maybe you're in luck...maybe EA have totally killed them off in the final!!

If so, then I will certainly consider buying it!

I must say i understand ea - if i were in their shoes i'd do the same things (money!!!!). The game is good enough to be a bestseller without any improvements. Yah, i'm also annoyed with all these thngs they could do but they didnt (like stupid names on shirts or kits getting dirty from Euro2k. Or national anthem. Will there be ANTHEMS in WC02?)
But the game is still cool. And you shouldnt blame ea but other producers. If its so easy to make an ideal game why anyone haven't (i'm talking about PC)? They are all making craps so the ea dont have to make anything special.
Just think how the world would look like if there werent fifa games!

oh, and i never scored a so called 'superhero header goal'. maybe i ve got different version. I also tuned the tackles in ai.ini and the gameplay is now OK, I think.

i want to the game to be more realistic as possible

i don't want to see bycicle and overhead kicks left and right
i don't want header from outside the box going in
I don't want players don't jumping for the ball
I want better movement for the players im not controlling, the defense lose their marks all the time... and beside the player you control the other teammates don't do anything... so it's always a 1-1
also the players react too slow.
i've already posted what i want in my other thread yesterday

i also think everyone should stop complaining about FIFA 2002. Playing it after 2001 was so realistic. Really the last two games from EA have really improved, so give EA a little slack hey??

seriously, this game is fundamentally flawed in too many ways to list. It just ain't football, and it's just damn ugly and shiny...EA should lose their licence to make football games. I'll write a letter to Blatter and tell him to give his licence to Konami.

And when you come back in, after failing to do even the simplest moves, you'll appreciate it. I've played soccer for about 6yrs (and of course there will be other people who will post saying "so what, i've been playing since the day i was born" etc, etc, etc)...and I think besides the rocket headers, and "drunken tackling", this game is very realistic!

Like I posted at the top, this game rocks! The most realistic that I've played...and Fifa will remain the most realistic unless that Euro game comes out for PC in the US.

Muajaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa este chabón ta chapita chapita...... para de delirar man, el Fifa es una mierda, la unica mierda que podemos jugar en Pc... pero a esol que le llamas "that Euro Game" que seguramente será el Winning Eleven que es japonés (el Pro Evolution soccer es japonés también, pero está hecho para venderse en Europa) es mil veces mejor que esa mierda que tengo en casa, Fifa 2002. Lo odio, suerte que me lo compré copiado y no le di guita a esos chantas de EA, y el Wc 2002 es la misma mierda pero con una nueva licencia y muñequitos inflables a los costados... seguí pensando lo que quieras, pero yo me voy a lo de mi vecino a jugar Winning Eleven 5: Final Evolution... que te diviertas jugando a un juego donde el jugador tiene la pelota pegada al pie, una física irreal, partidos aburridos que no se parecen en nada a un partido de verdad (poné 2 computadoras a jugar entre si y mirá el partido JAJAJ)... Que te diviertas.

That's all... i didnt want to think how to write this on english.. I only must say, you think that you want, then.. if you want continue playing Fifa SOccer, then play FIfa soccer... but i will be playing a lot better game... and waiting for the 04/25 when Winning Eleven 6 see the light!
