Spain's 4-0 win might change my mind, but wait, last world cup they won 5-0 but still lose out. I thought Brazil might have a chance, but if they don't improve their teamwork, it would be unlikely. I don't know about Germany yet, I'd want to see them against a stronger side, if they could win comfortably against Sweden (perhaps) in the next round, it might just be their year. By far, I think Italy and Argentina are the most likely candidate IMO.

Too early to tell. My pick was Italy, they played well. As long as they top group (which will be really difficult), they'll avoid Brazil. That will definitely up their chances.

Portugal as always. We have a solid enough team to win it. Just need some of that luck Brasil had yesterday. Croatia had so many golden chances.

Argentina V Ivory Coast - I was extremely impressed with the Africans and the game was end to end.

2) Most Impressive Performance?

Ivory Coast - Far exceeded my expectations and just kept hammering on the Argentine defence. Okay they were beaten 3-1, but the way they played was impressive.

3) Worst Game So Far?

England - Paraguay: Second half sent me to zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

4) Worst Performance So Far?

France. Individually I'd go with Ronaldo he looked half asleep. (Maybe he watched England Paraguay on Saturday.)

I picked Brazil, but seeing how well Argentina played I fancy them on the first showing. I hope the display against Croatia is not the way Brazil will continue to approach the group games.
