The UEFA Cup will have the likes of Bayern, Ajax, Fiorentina, Villarreal, Galatasaray*, Atletico Madrid* (* if they qualify past 2nd round qualifiers) starting right from the start. Assuming that all these clubs will advance past the group stage it should make for a cracking Round of 32 with the 3rd place teams dropping from the CL.

Great! So the 3rd qualifying round losing teams get to play in UEFA Cup 1st round! Finally Belarus will have a team still in europe during September, unlike other years, when our hunt would finish somewhere around July.
