If the PC version would be NG, EA would have been bragging about it..
I doubt if Fifa09 will be NG. Probably not since their NG engine is not optimalized for PC's. It would take a Crysis-killing machine to run the NG fifa according to the EA producer (I read it in a producers blog last year).
Seems to me that there is a non-excisting small chance that EA will rebuild their engine, just for the PC.

EA already stated that 09 will be next-gen and another year of 03-graphics sunds unrealistic. And that it would need a "crysis-whatever-machine" to play FIFA 08 is just funny. My PC could easily run the next-gen Fifa, the graphics aren't even that good, if you compare them to games with really "good" graphics. PC players only don't have ng because of these deals between developers and console-sellers.

No there's no information about the songs at the moment.
But there are new screen from the Xbox360 version.
They show you a game of France and Italy at Vienna.
Just look at the detail of the kits! I think when NG comes for us editers, we won't need kitmakers anymore.
Finally, then the community can concentrate on improtant stuff.

Dang, mate stop posting pics because every pic just makes me want this game more and more and more!! 
@lordspawn, I think the game is coming out around April 20th...
Like I've said I can't wait to get this game, since it looks like it will be AWESOME. (yeah, I'm talking about NG) Everything seems just perfect, including the kits....at least for EA, the kits are spectacular...
Though I remember reading somewhere that the gameplay has been made faster and thus the game will allow for plenty of 0-0 games and plenty of 3-2 shooters as well...I just hope the gameplay will still be decent...
Have you guys also read about the integration of rain and mud in the game? Apparently those two factors will have significant influences in a game now...and if you ask me that's pretty cool
I also saw some pics and a video of the CG version in one of those links and I must say I don't think it will be that bad...the kits are nice, and I see they've integrated some NG movements in the players...the players seem to 'move' more freely...as long as they made the gameplay better and less robotic the CG version should be pretty fun to play too!

atfer watching trailers, i realized both NG & CG were deleveloped from UCL version. Look at the popups lay-out and some cinematics...
About CG, nothing is special, really ! No confetti like WC 06, just new GAME MODE i think !

The fake lettering and numbers alone already make me not want to get it also the hideous faces that look absolutely nothing like the players also make me not want to buy the game. also the numbering on the back is to small. and the lettering is too huge.

but as usual EA lets us down.
also they need to mass revamp the physics engine. case its so rigged. examples. i always go to kick the ball out and it always bounces off their player and goes PERFECTLY into the path of 1 of their players EVERY single time. (so perfectly like a perfectly given pass/cross) EVERY single time.
instead of it being random or more physically realistic.
probably the biggest problem is the biased reffing towards the CPU.
if they fix these problems fifa will be perfect. though it is very enjoyable now.

But it's not available only on 360, Gen Oval!
