Chelsea has really improved their squad, and I think they will surprise by finishing second. I think the teams I have relegated are all pretty obvious choices. I think Leicester is going to be absolutely terrible this year. There is a big dropoff from 5 and 6, but I think Southampton will surprise and get that final UEFA Cup spot. If they get Phillips, they should be pretty good even though they did swap Bridge for Le Seux and Bridge in my mind is clearly better. I would have had Blackburn 6th but losing Duff is really gonna hurt. :(

Leeds United, Portsmouth, and Birmingham aren't very good but should survive. Leeds used to be so good, but they are just getting worse and worse, however, I don't think they are bad enough to get relegated.

I think Liverpool have done enough to turn last years problems around...If Carragher gets and stays fit...With him at RB, Riise at LB, and Hyypia at CB then they are strong enough in defence...Although another good CB would be nice...In midfield they are looking great...Id run with Gerrard holding, Kewell on the left, and then Diouff, Hamann, Murphy fighting for the remaining 2 places...

Heskey isnt a great player IMO, but he compliments Owen well, so Id start with him upfront.

Starting XI
Lets be serious here. I may not be crazy about lal the teams but ill be realistic when i make my predictions here:

1) Manchester United: Somehow, someway these guys always seem to get it done, i see nothing different this year.

2) Liverpool: They will have a much improved season, but they won't have enough to unseat the champs.

3)Arsenal: They are basically the same club just a different goalie, no weaker, no stronger, for better or worse.

4)Chelsea: Money is not gonna be enough to get them past the big three.

5)Newcastle: Good enough to be in the champions leage, if it wasnt for the 4 teams above them.

6)Everton: If Rooney can stay healthy.

7)Blackburn Rovers: Best Goalkeeper in the EPL.

8)Tottenham Hotspur: Their added scoring punch will help them improve a bit.

9)Southampton: About the same on level with last year.

10)Birmingham City: Now that they have survived, they get the opportunity to establish themself as a solid Premiership side.

11)Manchester City: It wont be Seaman's fault, although hell prolly get injured. They will stumble a bit after last years solid campaign.

12)Aston Villa: A little better this year, but lack of funds will keep them from being a stronger side.

13)Leeds United: See Aston Villa.

14)Charlton Athletic: The bad streches will outweight the good ones this streaky club tends to have.

15)Middlesbrough: Injuries are already piling up. And does anyone really wanan play for a team that has never even won a trophy. Flavio didnt.

16)Leicester City: Appera to have made enough acuistions to have a chance of staying up.

17)Bolton Wanderers: Once again the dogfight until the lst day. They stay up, fans celebrate and we do it all over again in 2005.

18)Portsmouth: Sheringham is getting old. Redknapp couldnt cut it at West Ham. They are lucky to be here, cuz the were a mid table Div 1 side in 2002. One year wonders i say.

19)Wolverhampton: They didnt do enough this offesason to be able to stay up. Enjoy the stay wolves fans, You at deserve to be here this year.

And last, and definately least:

20)Fulham: Hopeless.
