EPL Day 6: Manchester Derby (United vs. City) [P+R]

Very relieved we still managed to win after gifting City 2 goals!

Rio and Foster are two very very lucky boys as SAF would've given them the works if Owen hadn't scored! They are lucky Keano's gone, else he probably would've snapped their legs himself!

HAHAHAHA I am absolutely delighted right now!! Foster and Ferdinand are lucky we managed to bounce back....I was fearing for another Liverpool story from last season after their first goal.

I feared for us after that - usually if you make a stupid error like that (and Rio's later) you rarely go on to win - but we have Michael Owen.

By the way - I take back anything bad I ever said about Darren Fletcher, he was immense today.

City are wingeing - but really I couldn't care less :33vff3o:

The stoppage time was because City celebrated their goal for 1.5 minutes and we made a substitution which is another 30 seconds.

Tough loss by ManCity... Just when you think you are coming out with a point, owen scores.

It's obvious who the better team were, and this game would have been that much better if Ade would have been available. What speed by Bellamy, and what mistake to give that first goal to Ronney.

come on mate, i understand the way in which you lost seems a little unfair, but murder united???

they were clearly the better team, you scored 2 goals out of 2 mistakes, they could have put 3 or 4 more on you guys, I think they deserved the 3 points out of the performance of both teams

Haha what a great game. I really enjoyed that, even at 3-3 I was thinking O well what a class game, then Owen and giggs... quality! :D

Was so funny, I was watching the game at home with my partners dad and the git started supporting city just to annoy me I think.

It made it that more intense and then Owen scored, I jumped on the floor, punch the ground (which is still hurting) then proceeded to roll onto the side of my left arm doing doughnuts on the carpet hahaha

I also have to mention Tevez. After the summer I was really starting to hate this guy but he's got my respect back. He didnt really celerbrate the first two goals. Was hugging evra at half time and was also clapping the stretford end even though he was getting booed. Kinda feel sorry for him now. Hes got my respect back and I'm sure many others.

K now that I've calmed down, some actual analysis from what I got from the highlights and many reports that I've read. Yes, we were outplayed in the 2nd half and probably deserved to lose, but not the way we did. This was almost on par with the Montreal Screwjob people. Giggs outclassed Richards on the right, Hughes was outcoached by Baconface in the 2nd half, God only knows why he threw Bellamy into the central midfield role and pushed Ireland up onto the wing. Lescott and Toure need to start hanging out outside of training more often to get to know each other because they've been inept the past 2 games. Bridge is just Bridge, nobody cares about the **** and he gets out-jumped for almost every header. And Tevez seemed like he disappeared in the 2nd half but played hard in the 1st and got us the first goal.

All in all, cant complain too much about what went down though. This game can be used to motivate the team for the entire season, and once we get fit again we should be up there with the top four.

Oh, and Bellamy, you ask?

******* Legend.

It would be hard for Robinho and Bellamy to compete with Bellamy right now, they guy's on a roll.

That does actually mean something. Real true. :munch:

I'd rather see Bellamy starting on the left even when Robinho's healthy, but unlike Bellamy who said he would fight for his place this season, Robinho would probably bitch and moan until his exit.
