EPL 27/3 - Chelsea vs. Wolves [P]+[R]

Sky Reloaded

Reserve Team
Kickoff 15:00 - about a half hour from this post

There's still a day before possibly one of the biggest matches of the season so let's watch this one first. I'm just gonna copy the info from 4thegame:

Claudio Ranieri today confirmed Frank Lampard will start against Wolves at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, meaning the Chelsea midfielder will become only the ninth player to clock up 100 successive Premiership appearances.

Ranieri has also been boosted by the news striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is back from the hamstring injury which ruled him out of the 2-1 League victory against Fulham and 1-1 Champions League draw against Arsenal.

Forward Hernan Crespo, a substitute against the Gunners after injuring himself in training, is also back to full fitness.

But Ranieri is still without goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini (hand) and right back Glen Johnson (ankle).

Long term absentee Juan Sebastien Veron began training again today after his back injury and should be fully fit in a fortnight - although fellow midfielder Emmanuel Petit remains sidelined with his knee problem.

Provsional squad: Ambrosio, Gallas, Terry, Desailly, Bridge, Geremi, Lampard, Parker, Duff, Makelele, Cole, Hasselbaink, Crespo, Gudjohnsen, Mutu, Gronkjaer, Huth, Melchiot, Sullivan.

Paul Ince is struggling to be fit for Wolves' daunting trip to Chelsea.

The inspirational Wolves midfielder has a knee problem and although scans revealed just bruising the trip to Stamford Bridge may come too early.

Colin Cameron could earn a recall in Ince's place after shaking off a hamstring injury while Denis Irwin is expected to replace Mark Clyde at right-back.

Provsional squad: Jones, Naylor, Butler, Craddock, Irwin, Camara, Ince, Rae, Kennedy, Cort, Ganea, Iversen, Miller, Newton, Cameron, Gudjonsson, Clyde, Luzhny, Oakes.

As much as I'd like to, I can't see Chelsea losing this one especially with Wolves in poor form. 2-0 to the Blues.
