So he's off. Super Tommy Repka is heading home to Prague after 5 fun filled years in the East End. Some of my favourite memories:

Drilling the ball from 4 yards straight at the opposing keeper's head and knocking him out.

Getting two Wigan players sent off and then shaking the ref's hand as he's being subbed.

Copping a rash tackle from a Preston player and headbutting him in retaliation.

Telling West Ham fans at Brighton to 'fuck off' after they'd bollocked him.

Keeping Alan Shearer in his hip pocket as we did the Toon a few years back.

He was a headcase, but he was my headcase. Love you Tommy.

Everyone loves a good headcase. Now, I know your knowledge of the NBA may be limited, but if you can answer properly, would you say he was more of a Dennis Rodman headcase or a Ron Artest headcase? I'm trying to get a bit of perspective on Tommy.

Lost track of him after he left Fiorentina. He didn't want to leave but Fiorentina's financial condition at the time forced him out.

He's neither - he wasn't flamboyantly nutty like Rodman, but he wasn't really a vicious psycho like Artest. I s'pose he's closer to Artest cos he never poled Carmen Electra or wore a pink boa (plus he called out some West Ham fans/opposition fans who gave him stick, not as bad as climbing into the stands, but still..)

How can you say you lost track of him? He's been winning hearts and minds at West Ham since then.

Yeah,a real character alright.A game of football was never boring if Repka was playing thats for sure.I found i was just waiting for the opposition to attack so i could see what he would do to them this time.Will he go in studs up?....will he just kick the other bloke in the nuts?.....or would he pull off a class tackle and win the ball,which he sometimes did.I saw him f.u.c.k a few things up,get shouted at by his team mates,and tell them to "F.u.ck off" too.All the while poor Harry is standing on the touchline shaking his head,a little smile on his face.I lost count of the red cards Repka got,but he always entertained me anyway.
Its gotta be an advantage to have a psycho like him in your defence.A defender that some other players were literally s.h.it scared of.
So this is good news for me anyway.I dont need to worry about my precious boys getting their legs broken or being knocked out when we play the Hammers.I should think a few other clubs are gonna breathe a sigh of relief too,now that he is going.
