Englands Left Midfield Problem

Blades Man

Who do you think will become the regular left midfielder for England? No matter who it is, we need Ashley Cole as Left Back.

Graeme Le Saux has a decent left foot.

Joe Cole also might be able to do a good job on the left flank, but he hasn't been given the opportunity to do so.

Greening

Greening is currently playing on the left in midfield for Boro and he's doing a good job. Thats why Sven called him up for the NT gathering.

He hasnt been in the England NT since early world cup qualifiers. But since he has being scoring for Real lately he got a call up for the upcoming NT gathering.

England have tried many players on that troublesome left side, the only problem was about 95% of them were right footed.
Trevor Sinclair
Joe Cole
McManaman
etc.

That meant they had to either cut back and cross with their right foot or would send in below par cross with their weaker left foot.

I think Jonathan Greening is also right footed and so he might also not be the answer to their problem.

Maybe Sven should call up Kieran Richardson(Man United youngster=>left footed)!!!:crazyboy:
