Well, these are just press predictions (I read somewhere King will replace Gerrard). As for Smolarek, he's very likely to play in the second half. There are many people, including me, who believe he should start but how can one argue about Ebi if Frankowski, who scored 6 goals in the campaign, must sit on a bench because of Rasiak who seems to be the coach's pet.

Olisadebe wasn't called up. He's been injured for most of the games or like some say, has been pretending so.

Rio can hardly play on his right position at the moment, I doubt he will do any better as a DM.

haha i'd love to see Rio play DM, he's awesome at getting forward for a CD.

King has the experience in a DM role though.

Disappointed to see Richardson is probably not starting, i'd pick him over SWP at the moment as he's actually play regular first team football and gives us that extra option on the left (with Joe Cole on the right).

This proves that England CANNOT play Gerrard and Lampard in the same team; having King as a holding midfielder means that SWP and Cole can push up more.
