Reports in Spain suggest that Ronaldo will be fit for Real Madrid's crucial game against arch rivals Barcelona next week.
The Brazilian had been a major doubt for the showdown after suffering a recurrence of the calf injury he sustained against Racing Santander in early March.

The problem kept him out for three games, but on his return - in the shock 3-0 home loss to Osasuna - the Brazilian was forced off shortly before the half hour mark.

It had been feared the former Internazionale star would subsequently miss the date with Barca, but he trained without reaction over the weekend and should now be available for next Sunday's match.

The news will come as a big boost to Real boss Carlos Queiroz who, despite Saturday's much-needed derby win over Atletico, has come under pressure in recent weeks with his side faltering both domestically and in Europe.

This is always a big match.Despite the position of the two clubs ,it's always an intense game.

RUSI ,can you find the number of wins and defeats in the derby?
I think it's 90 wins Barca ,82 or 83 Madrid and around 76 draws...

I can't wait for the match and I'm happy that people are having doubts about the winner of this match.A few months ago few would give any chance to us.

On the Barcelona official site it says Sunday 24.4.2004 ,19:30.

I think 19:30 is a bit weird kick off time.

Plus I would prefer the match be played on Saturday.

Definitely the biggest match of the season and I think the biggest derby in the world.
We have lost against depor ,Real and Valencia at Nou Camp and now we have beaten Depor and Valencia at their ground so I think we have a great chance to complete the triangle.
If Dinho has his night ,Casillas will suffer.
