My point is that Madrid did nothing to deserve the draw, it is Barcelona's fault for not scoring on any of their 23 chances. I didn't see anything impressive in the defense and Casillas really didn't have any tough saves to make, he just had to make an immense amount of routine saves. According to as.com, Barca had 34 shots (12 on target) while Madrid had 3 shots (1 on target). 12 corner kicks to Madrid's 0.

Madrid didn't hold of Barcelona, they were spared by them.

Never seen so many dives in a game, especially from Deco of course.

A draw was deserved considering Madrid played almost the whole match a man down. I think the ref must be the 'bigger man' in that situation and not listen to what Carlos says. It ruined our chances

Also, Although it was a penalty, great dive by van Bommel (Y) who was falling before Carlos got there.

Zidane was awful today, worst game from him in a while, Our Defense was superb today as was Baptista. I alread mentioned Casillas god-like performance. :)

i think hes got a few points right there from what i have heard, but obviously i will have to see te game, but barca did dominate, thats what everyone says so it is logic that barca should have won the game but just couldnt take chances, hope we dont play like that against benfica

Barça were unlucky not to win, and they had a load of chances to do it. It seems their finishing is failing them at the moment tho.

And well, i dont think i need to say anything else about Ronaldo. Leave him alone and **** happens for you.

Yes we were dominated but like I said that is how it would be, we would only try counter attacks to score. Your finishing was crap and that down to Barca's fault. Its funny though even with 1 player more, a ref on your side, the crowd on your side, and 11 shots on our goal and Barca still did not score. We got one and scored on it :fool:

Sevillista about your point in that we did nothing to deserve a draw...what did Barca do to deserve a draw? At least we scored a legit goal unlike the ref scoring for them. Its not our fault if they cant score and they dont deserve anything if they cant put it in the back of the net.

It was a good match, Ronaldo's goal was very nice. Even though R. Carlos said something that harsh to the ref to get a straight red I think a warn would have been more justified. But anyway, he deserved it so that's it, nothing to do about it.

i'm surprised seeing real fans actually seeing this 1-1 as a victory, when the result just guarantees (sp.?) the la liga for barca. guess there will be no trophys for you this year either :ewan:

thats domination of possession lol

barca really need a finisher... with 35 shots but no more than 1 goal scored... they didn't deserve to win either

La Liga was over a while ago. I guess you have been keep track of whats going on? Our fight is for second place, it has been for a while now :jap: oh and nird did you hear that the bus our players were in got attacked and one of the windows were broken. :ewan: ( Yes even Barca can have stupid supporters too )

it's a pitty this picture is not a movie. The tackle he received was impresive. Poor idiot!

I'm late for the discussion. I was quite dissapointed after the game. We had so many chances, that although the result was good for us and very bad for Madrid, I wanted to win the game.

I don't think we need a finisher but obviously Barça strikers are in a bad moment. Too many wasted chances in the last three games.

Less "jogo bonito" and more eficiency.
