Editing Players Inside Tournaments

Hello,
I would like to know if it is possible to edit the players stats (not just their appearance) in an already started tournament ? Me and my friends started a tournament and we are pretty much half-way into it and we would like to tinker some of the ratings.
I tried using creation master 15 but it broke the save file (the tournament file) and I had to reset the ratings in order to continue playing.
