Editing e_text file - impossible...?

I have been trying for god knows how many hours to edit the e_text file for PES4. What a complete nightmare! Basically, I have been trying to combine some of the features of Wolf's version with the original. Some things I liked in his version, some I didn't, so I thought it would be good fun to create the perfect combination. Boy was I wrong on the fun part!

Using Graphics Studio, the thing seems to have a mind of it's own. Some graphic files, like the league logos for example, seem to appear ok when you first put them in, but then when you reload Graphics Studio they sometimes appear either corrupted or just not there at all. I am using graphics files that are in Wolf's version, so why it's not working is beyond me.

This is only half the problem though, as any significant edits simply crash the game. Sometimes the game won't even load, other times the game loads but it crashes before the main menu, and then sometimes it seems ok but crashes when I try to start a Master League. It's just a big mess and is seriously driving me insane!

All I am basically trying to do is incorporate the official league logos into the game and get the menu to give me the proper ball names, plus a few other bits here and there. I simply cannot understand how it can be so hard to do this!?

I have tried editing the original Konami e_text file and adding Wolf's edits, and also vice versa by adding Konami files to Wolf's version. Neither process works.

Has anyone successfully edited the e_text file? Obviously Wolf managed it! If anyone has and can offer some advice that would be much appreciated...
