Het, is there any other method to get the EA patch...?!! It's very annoying just to sit there and watch the screen, hoping that the patch is downloading somewhere in the background.......It seems it doesn't work for me.

You should follow the advice that 'PES-Access' gave (three postings down)... http://www.soccergaming.tv/showthread.php?threadid=85738

You should wait for approximately five minutes (maybe a little less/more). It looked like nothing was happening, but the HDD LED was flickering on my PC tower case- so I knew it was downloading.

After a few minutes, it will say 'patch successful' (or something similar)- then just close the 'window'- and then play the game!

no wonder ea never releases patches for fifa, its crap aaaaaaall the way, game crashes with direct ip, game crashes when you want to enter custom controls:rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :kader:

Is it just the file FIFA04_PC_English_1-1.rtp you need or any others?
