I think he's massively overrated. He says he's getting close to Henry in skill but the only thing he has close or better than Henry is his nifty heading. He's a very ordinary player apart from that.

Though, you can't get a much better striker than him on PES (H)

of course you can, Sheva, Henry, Ronaldo, Vieri all own him on PES.

And I agree with Virgo, all Drogba can do is head the ball.

I think he's been a very good striker for Chelsea this year. 10 goals in the Premiership even with the injuries and he has a chance to finish as the top goal scorer in CL. What more can you want from him? I mean it was obvious that he wasn't gonna play at the same level that he did in France because the Premiership is stronger than the Ligue 1 and he sees better defenders week in and week out but I think he's done great.

Btw :-puke: Vieri sux big time in both his real and PES lives..

I like Drogba, he has lots of pace and gets off marking very easily!

I'm not a Chelski fan but I'll add my 2 cents anyway. He's not really anything special and is just another above average striker IMO. For the amount of money they paid for him, I reckon they could've gotten someone better.

well i dont wanna be to rough on the guy,because as Steaua said,the Prem is more difficult than ligue 1,and he has been unlucky with injuries.Having said that ,i have been dissapointed in all the strikers we have bought recently.Kezman....great things were expected of him after such a prolific season in Holland but he has been very poor for us........Crespo.......well the less said the better about this dope...i know he needed to find his feet in the Prem,but whatever level he plays at,he should not have missed so many sitters.I think the Prem was too physical for him.He actually looked scared half of the time.Mutu.....pretty much a dead loss....maybe it was the coke....Eidur has been our most consistant and dependable striker this season by far.....thank god our midfielders can score,Lampard,Robben,Cole and Duff.Even John Terry has put a few away.So yeah,Drog has been a bit of a let down all in all but i'm all for giving him another season because i'm sure he will find himself next season.He gets in all the right positions and he has scored some valuable goals.He does appear a bit clumsy at times and gives away a lot of freee kicks when he challenges for the ball but,i think he deserves another season and at Chelsea he will get a lot of support and encouragement because he is a fighter and he likes to be in the thick of the action,unlike some of the previously mentioned strikers who seemed disinterested in playing for us.One thing we need next season is a world class striker....who its gonna be remains a mystery,but i hope Jose is a little more careful whoever he chooses this time. :D

I don't get why Gudjonhsen isn't played up front anymore I mean that's the only place where he is effective on the field. If he touches the ball anywhere else other than the penalty box he looks lost.

Drogba is so overrated. actually i think Chelsea would be best served with Crespo. it could sound stupid because they lead the EPL and are in the CL semifinals but Chelsea needs 1 or 2 world class strikers.

Well...Drogba really reminds Henry...but Henry is something, and Drogba is another thing. Henry is a class player. Drogba is a great player. I think if Drogba stays at Chelsea next season he will show his true potential. He was unlucky with injuries too.

Certainly not worth the ridiculous amount of money that was involved in the transfer.

I'll give him one more season, see if he can live up to himself.

Money shouldn't even come into the equation here because Chelsea has an endless amount of it when it comes to transfers.
